Lampreypaw listened to all the ceremonies thoughtfully though their heart pounded inside their chest so hard they were sure others could see it through their fur. They could leave camp on their own if they wanted to, and would eventually learn how to traverse RiverClan territory like the back of their own paws. Their short bobbed tail quivered with excitement- and though they weren't aware of Lionstar's commentary, they promised themselves to not be a dud nonetheless.

Getting onto their paws, they shot their father Koistream a proud look, before trying to find out where their mentor was. What was their name, Mothdusk? They weren't sure who that was, but was excited either way. "Mothdusk?" They called in a small voice, not raising above the clamoring of the new apprentices. "I'm Lampreypaw! I'm right here!"

Snowpaw sheepishly smiled at the large she cat, "do you really think so? I'm not really that strong... I'm faster than I am strong. But I bet with you as my mentor, I'll get really strong!" She passionately said.

Poppytwist purred lightly. "That's good. RiverClan needs strong, loyal warriors. And we can get started after the meeting." She let out a small mrrow of amusement at his excitement.

Salmonsong was surprised to be given an apprentice, she glanced around before settling her gaze on Duckpaw,”Duckpaw?” She meowed touching the young apprentices nose.

RiverClan Announcement [#liontalks]

As Ripplekit bounded forward, Lionstar went along to do hers.

"Ripplekit [ @RedHead], from this moment forth you will be known as Ripplepaw. Riverripple [ @riverripple] will be your mentor.

"Riverripple, from my understanding you are a supportive and gentle warrior, and I hope you pass these traits onto Ripplepaw."

Lionstar would allow these words to settle, watching the crowd for Lotuskit to come forward as everyone else still had their chance to find their partner.

"In addition to this, while we wait for Lotuskit-- I want to announce that we have two additional Clan-mates joining our ranks as apprentices. Everyone, please welcome Warblerpaw [ @vermin] from WindClan and Traveler [ @Mumble], an outsider who has asked to join. Harepaw [ @Bluepetal] has also rejoined our ranks.

"Warblerpaw, you carry a Clan name and I will not be changing it. However Traveler, your name is not something I can allow in my Clan. All of you, please step forward for your mentor assignments and in your case, Traveler, your new name."

Berrykit—no, Berrypaw’s heart swelled with pride. She couldn’t help but smile as she scanned the crowd for Shimmeringpool. Once she had found her mentor, she padded up to her and grinned. “I promise I’ll be the best apprentice ever!” Her hazel eyes shone as she gazed up at her mentor and they touched noses. “When can we start training?”

Duckpaw was so happy! She was jumping up and down, really high. The young apprentice ended up tripping over her own paws, but got back up in a heartbeat because of how excited she was. She shook her head, she had to get rid of the habit of tripping over things.

After Duckpaw saw Salmonsong, she was greeted with a meow and a bop on the nose. Duckpaw giggled, and started hopping around again. “That’s me!”, she squeaked, trying to sound loud and confident, as she was now an apprentice.

Onepaws eyes glowed with gratefulness. He walked up to his mentor Hailfire and touched noses with them.

Hailfire glanced up when her name was called, surprise overtaking the disinterest in her features. Onekit, huh? A brief search of the gathered cats and she was making her way over to her new apprentice. She didn't know exactly what to think, so she kept her expression neutral as she leaned own to touch noses with him. "I hope you're ready," she said. "We start as soon as this meeting is over."

(actually creek is smaller than most, but is stronger than she looks- she's all about strategy mostly- like she will slip behind the enemy, trick them, ambush them, she always looks for a way to get a upper hand.) She purred at the fact her apprentice thought she was strong, most underestimated her, but that would also give her an upper hand. "I'll show you a battle move tomorrow, you better get a good rest." @Mumble
