Being back felt… nice. After giving a farewell to Slatewhisker, Otterfluff had been resigned to seeking out his nest (or probably creating a new one since had been gone for so long) and sleeping as long as he could, but it might raise a bunch of questions from those who knew him. Rarely did he sleep as a warrior, often always sitting near the camp entrance in a silent self-appointed guard duty.
Flexing out his hind leg, ignoring how stiff it still felt, the brown-furred warrior took a seat and began to work in grooming small patches of his long fur. He was content to just spend the day doing this, maybe going on a hunt later, but was also open in case anyone recognize that he had returned. He just hoped… he hoped that questions about his disappearance would be kept to a minimum.
[ open! otter went missing after the firefly cove battle and just came back ]

Halfkit dozed off in the reeds finding the cool plants a nice contrast from the warm sun. Not having anyone to play with sleeping was the next best option.
