Stormpaw had just woken up. Exhaustion tugged at her, weighing on her shoulders and dragging her down. She wanted to go back to sleep, but she knew that she needed to be productive. She wasn't a kit anymore. The recent drama was still shaking her. There had been so many deaths, so many outsiders.... and on top of all of that, she felt really insecure. At least Fawnpaw was her sister now. She sighed, wishing that she had some distraction, such as training, but Blizzardwind hadn't really been training with her. She tipped her head when she sighted Blizzardwind's other apprentice, Cloudpaw.
She tried to stop the curiosity from surfacing, but she just couldn't. "Cloudpaw? Um.. hi," she murmured. "Has Blizzardwind taken you out for training recently?"
➣ As she sat there, being the ever so brooding wallflower that she was, it shouldn’t have been surprising when another cat would soon approach her. Cloudpaw would recognize the figure as Stormpaw, who was also Blizzardwind’s apprentice. She would simply nod to the other molly as a simple, but overall polite greeting. “Hi, Stormpaw.” The black-and-white feline said, whiskers twitching to the other apprentice’s question, “Um… No, he hasn’t. We haven’t had a training session yet since he offered to become my mentor after Blizzardsky… went missing.” Was that too blunt of an answer? Should she have just tried to keep her answers brief and respectful towards her seniors? Probably. “...But it’s okay, seriously. I know he’s a shield and stuff’s been crazy around here for awhile now.” Despite everything, Cloudpaw didn’t want to come off as self-centered.
Blinking at Stormpaw, something seemed to poke and prod at the fluffy molly’s brain, tempting her to ask something, but she hesitated. It had been so long since she had been able to talk about her deep inner thoughts with another cat, especially a fellow apprentice. However, Cloudpaw and Stormpaw hardly knew one another. Plus, it would probably come off as weird.
"Cause Foxpaw made friends with a rogue, now that rogue is joining our clan because Foxpaw asked him too!" Frecklepaw blurted out, causing Foxpaw to bat the back of her head a few times. "Ow! You act like most of the clan doesn't already know. Heck! Even BlizzardWind knows." Frecklepaw growled, stepping away from her brother.
"I see. You two need to stop fighting." The Molly mews gently and sits between the two. "You guys know I wasn't born in the clan right?" Featherspirit mews sharing her backstory with them. "I was a kit when I was found and brought to the clan by one of our old leaders and he gave me the name feather." She tells them "you know how I got that name?"

Demon duo
Frecklepaw quickly became interested while Foxpaw didn't really care. "Is it becauseeee.. Your stealthy?" Frecklepaw asked, sitting down next to Featherspirit. Foxpaw rolled his eyes again. "Always - ugh.. Nevermind." He hissed to himself, walking back to the two and sitting down. "Why?"

Re: RiverClan Clearing
Russetsky ~
Russetsky padded into the clearing two trout in their jaws. Setting the prey into the pile they went towards a spot near the warriors den and settled down.
Halfkit ~
Halfkit watched cats through the clan quietly observing how some of them acted. She sat up to see some of the taller warriors but made no move to actually talk to anyone.

Otterfluff
The day seemed to have been passing by rather lazily so far, and though his return was still recent Otterfluff felt as though he were settling back in nice. Almost as if the last four moons had not occurred - and if it wasn't for the startling pain that engulfed his leg if he moved it too fast, the tall brown tom would've been convinced he had dreamt it all up. Thoughts of seeking out the new medicine cat - Fawnpaw, was it? - circulated his mind but he didn't wish to bother her with such trivial matters. What was done was done, and the former Shield had come to terms with the fact that his leg was far from saving.
As he sat near the entrance of the warriors den, he thought about the cats whom he had wanted to see upon his return. There weren't... many. Hazelstorm, but he hadn't seen the she-cat in quite some time. Their conversation in the territory had lingered in his mind - probably because she was one of the only... friends he'd had. Then there was Cloudpaw, who had been rather small the last time he had seen the black and white apprentice. Now, she appeared to be growing bit by bit as he spotted her talking near Mistypaw. Hmm. What a perfect opportunity.
He rose to his paws in one fluid motion before striding over to the duo. "Well, it certainly seems like that needs to be corrected, doesn't it?" Taking a seat just behind the two apprentices, Otterfluff awaited for them to turn around. Mistypaw he hadn't much spoken with, but knew her as Stormtalon's former apprentice (rest in peace). Cloudpaw though... she probably hadn't heard he was back yet.
[ @marina @thepirateking - don't mind me just... sliding this over for training if you two would like also otter doesn't know about misty's name change ]
Frostkit sat in RiverClan clearing looking around. She was pretty bored and didn't have anything to do. She wouldn't mind having someone to talk to, but she didn't want to bother anyone.
(Open to anyone!)
Hawkpaw turned to see Frostkit sitting down looking around the clearing. Hawkpaw felt like talking to her but he had training to do. Before he knew it he found his paws taking him over to Frostkit. "Hello." Hawkpaw meowed.
➣ For the first time in awhile, it was a sunny day with very few clouds to be seen. The small black-and-white apprentice sat in silence within the shade of a bush, off in a lonesome corner of RiverClan’s clearing. Her light blue-hued eyes flickered around, watching the other cats that occupied the scene with an unseen curiosity. There had been hushed talk of Otterfluff, a warrior who she had known as a young apprentice, having returned to RiverClan, but she hadn’t spoken a word to him yet herself. A lot had changed since the last time they had spoken. She was older, bigger, hardened by the harshness of real life and hardly the bubbly little molly she had innocently been during those moons. Would Otterfluff even remember her? Did it matter? No. It did not.
Inhaling a deep breath through her nose and exhaling through parted jaws, Cloudpaw tried to relax and just not think about too much. Blizzardwind hadn’t trained her, even after promising so much. So, in a way, she was back to where she started. It was frustrating to say the least, but the RiverClan molly kept her mouth shut and didn’t cause a fuss. It had been awhile since anyone really had talked to her. Shadepaw and Spiderpaw were gone. Fawnpaw was busy. Was this what it felt to become truly stir crazy? Maybe so. She wanted to do something. She wanted to learn. She wanted to finally become a true RiverClan warrior.
⸻⸻⸻⸻ ( OPEN… preferably to warriors, but anyone is fair game. )
Hawkpaw looked onto the RiverClan clearing. Cloudpaw was slouching and looked sad. "Cloudpaw are you okay?" Hawkpaw meowed.
Turtlekit wobbled around the clearing, her senses weren’t that great but she tried to not bump into things, I wish I could see she thought before bumping into a rock and fell over onto her back, like a turtle.. she said to herself before rolling over and getting up, she strained her ears for sounds of chatter but the one moon old kit heard nothing.
Must be deserted she shrugged @birdie
