Chubpaw. Bright, goofy and ditzy, when you think of sunshine, or the steryotypical golden retriever, you might think of Chubs. Unlike most the cats in ShadowClan, he's not like the majority of his Clanmates. A flamingo in a field of ravens, a puppy in a group of wolves. A social butterfly and a sweet soul, he makes friends easily and loves to talk and make others feel at ease. Not the most mature or responsible cat, you might think he's incapable of a serious relationship, or perhaps even serious emotions. A lover of love, life and the holder of many hobbies, Chubpaw is always down for anything, and when he loves (romantically, platonically, familially) he loves hard, loyal up until death or heartbreak, and isn't one to give up easily. Chubs also loves kids, and doesn't find it a chore to babysit or play with kits at all, pretty much mentally adopting all the children of ShadowClan as his little siblings.

Chub had one sister, Scorpionkit, who went missing, and his mother, who was slightly neglectful and also missing. He has little to no childhood trauma (for now tee hee) and I just aged him up specially for this, so he's 11 moons!

A little on the pudgier side for the majority of his childhood, Chubs has been bulking up lately. He's more muscular (still a little plump, but as he grows into a rather large tom, it's evening out). His eyes have changed from a kit blue-gray to a warm, sunshiney yellow. His fur is thick and long, and is dappled and mottled. He's a siberian cat, and a sunshine tabby, his fur is a mix of blue-gray tabby, silver, white, gold and amber tabby swirls.

Moving on from Chub information to what you're probably actually looking for. Why Chubpaw? Why should you pick him to be the future father of Springpaw's children, as well as her potential love interest? We already discussed this quite a bit in the cbox, so I won't go into HUGE detail, but I'll highlight some ideas I had in the cbox that I mentioned.

• chubpaw is more than willing to be a stay at home dad! after the kits are weaned, chubpaw will take full responsibility over caring for kits so spring can keep doing her medicine cat duties! how would he able to do this if he's a shadowclanner? well
• he's willing to leave shc once springpaw tells him she's going to have his kits! he loves his clan and all his friends, but he would leave shc in order to help with the kits. he'll be as devoted as they come
• he's in it for life unless ordered otherwise! you're stuck with him until death
• he's a cute, hopeless romantic family guy who wants the best for his family

Next, how could they possibly meet if they're in different clans? We already talked about this in the cbox, but they'd meet at a gathering and chat a little afterwards (maybe go for a little walk on the beach?), and then he'd be crushing hard. Then next gathering, she'll find that somehow, a bouquet of flowers made its way to her. And this happens for every gathering for moons. She also finds that flowers are left on the borders, and even her cousin Lotuspaw is delivering her flowers. They meet at a gathering, plan to meet at the border after he confesses that she was right, he is indeed her flower boy, her secret admirer.

Then, the romance begins. If Chubs is accepted, the rest can be discussed over pms or we can let it run its course as it goes. I may add to this later, but tysm for the consideration! Ily and Spring both and I'm excited for this plot!
