Pausing in his step for a moment, Deerpaw scrunched his face briefly and opened his mouth to sniff the air. Several scents were in the air around them, the most prominent of which being the scents of ShadowClan. Had a patrol come through here recently? Sniffing again, they caught the scent of mouse... a slightly stale scent, maybe a day old? How could a mouse be so bold as to get so close to the heart of the clan? Didn't it know anyone from ShadowClan would kill it in an instant?

"Will we be catching anything today or is it just a lecture?" They asked, unsure if the question was presumptuous or not. "I think I want to try, at least!"
