Alright. We all know that there is a large group of people on this site that is horrible at making intros to threads and yes, I am one of them, so let’s get down to business and not worry about silly things like intros. I doubt you are here for my marvelous words at the beginning anyways. What? Oh, sorry, I forgot why I was here for a few seconds. It’s very late and I’m rather tired right now. However, it has come to my attention that it has finally come to be a very special time in one of my character’s lives - Sproutwhisker and Talonfang are ready for their first litter.

Here’s some information to catch you up to speed. Sproutwhisker and Talonfang are both young warriors of Riverclan and became mates over five moons ago. They’ve always loved each other to the fullest and supported each other every single day. Ever since recently, they sat down and had a chat about having kittens. While they are both nervous, these young lovers are feeling quite excited to raise a family together. However, I believe there are some other things that I need to fill you in on before we get started. You need to know about the parents themselves, of course.

The father’s name is Sproutwhisker and he is my character. He is a black-furred tom with a splash of white on his chest and icy blue-hued eyes. This tom-cat was found in the outskirts of the hunting grounds of Riverclan when he was around three moons old when his birth mother rejected him and his mother’s twolegs tossed him out of the house, leaving him to die. He was found by Ripplewhisker, a kind Riverclan tom, and from there on, he was raised in Riverclan by Ripplewhisker and his mate, Swallowstorm. If you would like to know more about his backstory, check out his page in my character site. The kittens of this tom has the risk of being teased or even bullied due to having a father who was born a kittypet, but luckily, few cats these days know of his true origins. He is a kind, loving tom with a heart of gold and often loves to swim around in the river or cuddle with his mate in the clearing when he has the chance.

The mother’s name is Talonfang and she is a character owned by Blizzardfang. She is a black-and-white furred she-cat with icy blue eyes. Since she is not my character, you’ll need to contact Blizzardfang to know more about her backstory in depth if you wish to know. Talonfang is Sproutwhisker’s pride and joy, making sure that she is loved, but also has time to herself when needed. While she is nervous about having kittens, Sproutwhisker supports her all the way as they prepare to raise a family of their own in the near future.

Okay, now that’s done and we can move onto the kittens. Of course, we would like them to look similar to their parents with black and white pelts with blue eyes. Feel free to add your own uniqueness to them, just have them look similar to our Riverclan parents so that they make sense. We’re looking for 1-4 kittens and things such as personality, name, sexuality and gender are all up to you! If you have any questions regarding your character, feel free to contact me or Blizzardfang and we’ll happily help you with the creation of your kitten. There is no set birth date for their kittens, but I was hoping that they be born in 1-2 weeks in real life, but that can be changed if something happens, of course.

Also, before I list the application form, I will mention Sproutwhisker’s apprentice, Blackbirdpaw, will most likely be around their kittens a lot since she is close to Sproutwhisker as a father and a daughter would be. Blackbirdpaw is owned by Constellation and was originally known as Noirepaw until unfortunate circumstances occurred. She will most likely be like an adopted daughter to the couple and officially apart of the family once things happen.

Personality: Beechkit is insecure, and because of that someone could think he's clingy. He can be sarcastic at times, but you can find him always playing and smiling.
On a scale of 1-10, how active are you on WCO?: 8-9/10. Please note that if I'm in a different timezone, it could hardly happen that we're online in the same time. So the scale could change. However, I always check WCO at least every hour or two, if I'm not busy.

Roleplay Example: Beechkit yawned, his tongue rolling out before going back in place. He blinked a few times. His eyes still had to adjust on the nursery's shadows, and being a kit, he hadn't much experience. The young cat rubbed the back of one of his ears with his hind leg, then shook himself and gave a quick lick at his chest's pelt. He preferred it when his fur wasn't as messy as if he just came out from a fight with... uh... Beechkit kept himself still for a few seconds. He couldn't think about nothing he could fight. Then he blinked. Cats talked about foxes, and badgers... But the young kit never met them. He shook his head as if that would help to not think about it. With a flick of his ears he looked towards his mother, as to be sure he wasn't doing anything wrong, then awkwardly put one paw in front of another and stumbled outside, adventuring in the camp's clearing.

As dark as night. Pitch black. Her name comes after her coloring, which is of course black. Pitch black. It's a term you use when it is super dark. Pitch's fur is also super dark. Black. Not brown. Though it can seem like that in certain light, she really has black fur. As black as night. Her eye on the other hand are emerald. Definitely not a color of the night. Her pelt coloring and eye coloring may not entirely agree on what you should think of dark things, but they do look good together.

Personality :
A pelt as dark as night, a personality just as dark. This molly is not one you'd like to cross path with. A black cat is bad luck, this one is even worse. She might have a few problems. You're going to be surprise if you meet a cat who has liked the prospect of doom since she was a kit right? You're going to go into a coma from shock due to this gal. She doesn't really seem to like the prospect of joy and happiness in the world. Her outlook; negative. Her outlook on positive cats; you should just get her to tell you herself. She rants about them for ages. The molly can't understand why anyone would give such a positive attitude to such a pointless thing as the earth. Sure they lived on it... but it is also the reason for our existence. Pitch isn't very happy about most cats existence. She finds it a fault in the worlds existence. Actually, she finds many faults in thew worlds existence. So that's not really a surprise. Okay, lets also say that onions and roses and layer cakes all have things protective their gorgeous centers. Perhaps Pitch is like that to? Well... maybe, but the key is, don't try to get her to be nice to you, or be positive. That will only make things worse on your part. As in, way worse. I guess you could argue that as a kit she might have been positive and playful, but she isn't. A grump, and refusing to play with the other kits. Her parents and her siblings are the only ones she ever opens up to. Oh.. and love. Every cat needs a view of love. Pitch's? It's toxic.
