Yep, looks like he got it. Thistle thought, her eyes widening slightly with surprise when her son just collapsed, seeming so suprsied that he just passed out. Well, she couldn't exactly blame him. With a sigh, she dropped the prickly shield she had mentally putting around herself she had since, wow.... she kind of couldn't remember. Jeez, that seemed bad, but at the same time, she didn't blame herself. The molly didn't want to look weak to other cats, especially those she was making a first impression on. But this was different, simply because this certain feline was her son.
She padded closer to him, standing near his shoulders, Thistle bent over him, nuzzling his cheek gently in attempt to try to wake him up.

Trappaw felt something brushed up against his cheek, waking up instantly to see Thistle right there in front of him. "So you're my mother.
I thought you wouldn't ever recognize me." meowed the young apprentice. Trappaw stood up, backing up a bit "You left me! I thought you didn't love me. Do you know how much I think why you left me. I thought you didn't care!" growled the apprentice. His claws came out, as he dug them into the earth.

The molly quickly stepped back, laying her ears flat, her eyes slightly narrowing. What a great response! She wanted to retort, but she held her tongue. "Well, I'm sorry that I wanted you to survive." She said in reply, her tail starting to slowly lash. "It was a harsh season for prey, so I left you near the border, since your father had spoken about how they would usually shelter a kit." She nearly spat in reply, her hackles slightly raised and her fur near the base of her spine starting to slowly bristle.

Trappaw took a deep breath, calming himself down. "I'm sorry. i lost my cool there for a moment." replied Trappaw. The apprentice never thought of leaving to live in Thunderclan like that. Now that he knew that she did what she thought was best for him. "Do I have any siblings?" wondered Trappaw, silently asking Thistle. Trappaw gave his chest fur a few licks while his back fur lied flat once again. She had no choice Trappaw. She knew that she wouldn't be able to take care of you. She did the right thing. She could have left you in the dust.

The feline shook her head. "No, you were the only one of the litter." She said in reply, remembering with a slight tang of pain of how it felt to leave her only kit, ever, for other cats to raise him, and love him. She flinched internally. And it wasn't even like she had waited near the border with him, no. She had just left him. She really was quite lucky that a fox or even crows even got to him before another cat found him. Thistle smiled, a bit awkwardly. "Well, uh, thanks for the apology." She said, scuffing a paw against the soild ground softly. Is it worth nothing that I never had any other kits after or before him? She studied his posture for a moment. It's better if I didn't...

Trappaw nodded, his eyes narrowing towards the ground. The apprentice gave his chest fur a few licks as to show that he was a bit disappointed, but it wasn't because of his mother or father. "Its okay. I have two annoying adoptive sister's. A cat named Gingerstep took me in, but after that father had gotten very sick and now he's not with us. Trappaw rambled. More like he got depressed and died two moons later. He didn't see me grow up that much.

She awkwardly smiled. "Well, at least you did get the sibling experience." She said. At least he was raised with siblings. She thought, blinking slowly, and her smile vanishing, when she heard what else he had said. "Well, at least, uh- he died peacefully then..." The molly attempted, just kind of giving up at the end of the sentence. She sighed quietly. He must've missed so much of Trappaw's life. She thought, then took another moment to wonder what she could of said. "I'm sorry that he didn't really get to see you grow up, and in that matter," She averted her gaze to the ground for a moment. "Or that you never got a real mother- and Gingerstep really must of been a really good cat, and a great parent, I guess I'm just apologizing for not being able to be there for you." She finished softly, nervously looking toward him again.

Trappaw looked at his birth mother with a smile. "Gingerstep is a great mother. She has two brothers in different clans. I met them in gatherings before and i have grown to love them. Not to mention all the she-cat's that had fallen for me." meowed Trappaw, but than he realized what he said was a bit too far and too much information. "well at least none of them as compared to Mangopaw. That is one pretty she-cat." Trappaw continued, showing that there was a specific she-cat that he really liked.

Thistle couldn't help but grin as her son smiled at her. "Wait, that reminds me." She flicked the tip of her tail. "What clans exactly are there? I know there's ThunderClan, but isn't there more than that?" The loner asked. There has to be more than ThunderClan... She thought. "Oooh, what does this Mangopaw look like?" She asked, prodding absentmindedly at the bird that was near her feet. She glanced back toward the clearing her den was in, wondering if she should show the sunny clearing to him.
It was quite nice, as it was partly covered by the canopy of trees, but there was space in between them, providing shafts of sunlight.

Trappaw looked at his mother with a blink of both eyes as she asked about the clans. "Well there's Thunderclan of course you know. Shadowclan, Riverclan, and Windclan. The other clans kinda scare me, well except for Windclan." replied Trappaw with a shudder. The tom gave his ear a quick scratch. "Mangopaw? Oh yeah. Mangopaw has the most beautiful ginger tabby she-cat. Her cream colored paws are the best part of her. She also has cream colored tail and ear tips." Trappaw meowed, beginning to purr as he talked about Mangopaw. Mangopaw is better than the other she-cats. Hey who knows maybe she'll be my mate later on.
