they say love can heal a broken heart but what can you do when all your heart realizes love will only break it more and stops loving? there are many ways to hide it. many ways to paint a illusion. yet, lightfeather choose a choice which wasn't the best.

oh, you don't even know who this cat is. how unfair for me. who am i? well, i'm the one that knows him most. his heart.
he is asexual and grey-panromantic while right now being 27 moons. lightfeather is a greyish tom with black spots, one on his left eye. his ear tips and tail tip is black while he has one sock marking on his right backpaw. he has light blue eyes and is a short-hair. his fur was sleek and neatly groom, usually. lightfeather has a scar in the middle of his tail and one scar on his right leg.

lightfeather was like every single kit. he was hopeful for the future and what it had to come. he was friendly as could be and would never hurt even a fly. he was playful and he average. he didn't have handsomely good looks. he wasn't a cute tsundere. nor was he the bad boy. he always enjoy a nice warm day and a good piece of prey that is anything. he was born into a family that loved him. well, a mother that loved him. lightfeather never actually knew a father. all he knew was that his father was a bad guy. someone who he should never meet. lightfeather apprenticeship was when it got rocky. he met a she-cat named birchleg.

birchleg who was birchpaw then drew lightfeather who was lightpaw in. she was a beautiful she-cat in her heart and looks. while lightpaw couldn't resist her. he was always by her side, he could never leave her. birchpaw met a apprentice named thistlepaw. he was completely different from lightpaw. he was more charming and made her feel more like a princess than lightpaw could. it wasn't hard to see he was jealous. he despised thistlepaw. he was unaware on how much he started to ignore her. it was a crush that was starting to get dangerously real. then they all became warriors. lightpaw became lightfeather, birchpaw to birchleg, and thistlepaw to thistledusk. a couple moons later lightfeather made birchleg his mate. she didn't exactly say yes but when rumors spread, she just accepted. lightfeather couldn't help but still block her out. something inside his heart was telling him to leave her. yet it wasn't him who made the first move. birchleg departed from him and without another word left him heartbroken.

now, lightfeather started to get flirty. he didn't want to feel that pain of being open again. he didn't realize he was making someone falling for him and he was falling for the tom. lightfeather always flirted with this tom. usually the tom would reply with a snarky remark but after or so when lightfeather pretended to be hurt by what he said, they would give him something but do their best to seem upset about it. while he learned to not let someone get close to him. lightfeather and the tom soon did become mates. he couldn't help it. while this time, lightfeather did the opposite with the tom. he smothered him until he couldn't breath. a releaship that became one-sided. too much effort.

lightfeather swore to never love a tom or a she-cat again. he couldn't. how could his heart handle it anymore? so, he continued to flirt. cover it up. no one would see. right? lightfeather met a new friend, a cat that didn't really have no gender. they identified as agender. lightfeather was cautious at first because of their outgoing and smother like personality. it reminded him of himself but they were a bit different. they let anyone in. they didn't care. they were reckless. lightfeather fall for them so, he ignored them and became rude and cold to them. they never were officially mates. this went different, though.

lightfeather became a big flirt, his mother started to grow disappointed in him. while he may have never met his father, he was becoming like him more and more each day. it was worrying his mother. she confronted him telling him to stop flirting. to lightfeather this was like asking someone to let someone kill him, emotionally. he lashed out at his mother. for a moon, he disappeared. no cat knew where he was. no one.
the day lightfeather returned, he found out his mother was dead. she died from a deadly illness. this was one of the sparks that made him want to be a medince cat. if he was there perhaps he could have saved her. though, he lives with that guilt every day of his life which is a great punishment for lashing out. he believed it was because he didn't stop.
ah, lightfeather. he does have major trust issues. this tom i know the best because like i said. i am his heart. he would never hurt anyone without feeling guilt. he is a big flirt but i do know and will confirm, lightfeather cares about his clan more than himself or anything. it is the only thing that he loved but hasn't hurt him in return. he is a kind tom and will make you smile in the worst moments. lightfeather isn't much a jokester and if he does try to be a jokester, he'll just say a cheesy joke. he is a bit of a mess, truth be told. he can be possessive but still push you away. i know he can be a bit.. well, he can easily feel guilt. he will hide when he feels sad and just give you his best smile. he refuses to let his emotions to get in the way, now. lightfeather is two-sided. you may know him but not actually know him.
i know something. lightfeather does want to be a medince cat. probably more than cats would realize. it seems like a escape. maybe he won't admit it. he isn't exactly extremely talented with memory, heck his memory is quite horrible. though he doesn't give up. call it studdborn or stupidity. he can barely hurt someone without feeling the need to apologize to the enemy. he is no where being the best cat qualified for it. their are others better for the role. lightfeather loves his clan and would love to not use his claws to serve it. he wants to care for it like a father instead. his flirtiness may get in the way but, he would be a pretty good medince cat. while his belief on starclan does vary. lightfeather has a hard time believing it. why would it let his mother die? he believes some cats can be reborn and some will stay with the stars. lightfeather doe-

the tom let out a small chuckle, "so, what is buggin ya, beautiful?" he asked, the cat gave him a look. shaking her head, she wasn't fond of his flirting. "i have a thorn in my paw!" she whined, holding her paw up for the medince cat to see. lightfeather blinked, "okay, okay. its not that bad, you know. you got me worried that you might be dying. " he said. he bent down, grabbing the thorn with his teeth before pulling it out. the young warrior let out a yelp, she pull her paw back. "do you see any wounds on me?" she huffed, rolling her eyes. lightfeather offered a smile, "nope but wounds don't have to be visible to still hurt. " she stared at him for a moment, her whiskers twitched in amusement. "your a funny tom, lightfeather. sounds like you weren't speaking of me, well see ya! also you really should fix talking like a actual medince cat! they don't flirt!" she bounded out of the medince cat den, lightfeather stared after her for a moment before looking at his paws. "hmm, i wonder what she was talking about. " yet he knew well about what she was talking about. he turn away from the entrance of the den and began to sort his herbs. lightfeather was newly appointed riverclan medince cat. truth be told he was surprised and did his best to hide his smile but that was impossible. he finally found something he could be without using claws and teeth. lightfeather paused, lifting his head from his herbs. "who am i kidding? i know what she was talking about. " he sighed, his heart seem to shudder. if lightfeather could ever see his heart, he wondered if it would be cracked, chipped, covered in bandages. maybe, maybe it would start to heal properly now. no one could hurt him. it was impossible to. to lightfeather's belief.

This cat does not believe in starclan. When ever she hears the mention of their warrior ancestors, she can’t help but feel skeptical. She tends to think those who believe are complete mouse-brains. She hides this secret well though. Night has wanted to be medicine cat for so long, mainly for her benefit though, she hates to hunt and fight. Her memory is amazing so she remembers herbs from her times in the medicine den. She doesn’t like being around a lot of cats, she finds most to be annoying anyways. Personality

She does things that will typically benefit her(healing others is part of medicine cat duties which benefits her). She thinks all the cats are motivated by self interest, which can be said about her. Narcissist

Background
Nightgaze was the only kit to her family, both parents were devoted to her and loved her with very much. As a young kit she was hyper and bounced around like any typical kit her age. Before she became an apprentice her parents passed, changing the way she was. She became more hateful towards others and withdrew from everyone. Throughout her apprenticeship, she tried to get out of her apprentice duties, thinking she didn’t have to hunt or fight. She became a warrior abit late due to this behavior and all the trouble she would get into. Her lack in belief of starclan is due to the fact that she is ashamed of her behavior, ashamed of the way she is so if she didn’t believe then she wouldn’t have to see her parents and their disbelief and shame in her. She actually thinks if she saw them all she would see is hate for the way she is. Nightgaze decided to become medicine cat to get out of her duties but deep down she hopes that maybe just maybe this rank will help her to better herself, she would never admit to that though.
Starclan, she though, it’s like a disease...it’s always there. Night turned back towards her den, rolling her eyes as she entered. The black she-cat didn’t believe in starclan and even if she did what was so great about a bunch of dead cats? With a snort of disgust, she took a deep breath and closed her eyes before counting to ten. Counting has always been a way for her to calm herself before getting to her duties, which was what she needed to do now. With a sigh she turned and began to work.

My name is Sparrowkit! I was born into WindClan. Mother says I look just like any other WindClan cat and Father says I have strong legs made to chase after rabbits! My short brown fur is nice and glossy because Mother always tells me I need to look nice. She says my green eyes are pretty too. Mother tells me that she named me Sparrowkit after all of the memories she has of catching sparrows in new-leaf. I think that’s really special. I enjoy playing with the other kits in the nursery and learning as much as I can about the world. I get into a little bit of trouble every once in a while, but the my favorite elders always tell me that all the kits do, so I don’t get too upset over it. Oops! I’ve got to go now. It’s looks like one of the elders is about to tell a good story! I’ll make sure to tell you all about it later!
Today was very exciting! Mother finally let us out of the nursery after keeping us in there for too many days. When Father came home from patrol, he taught me and Brother a hunting crouch! Father told me I did very well and he had to correct Brother a lot. Father said we were equally good, but I think I was better. It’ll be okay. I told Brother I’ll help him out later. We’ll be the most well prepared WindClan apprentices!
Brother got a stomach ache yesterday. It was scary because he was hurting and Mother was worrying a lot. The medicine cat brought him some herbs to make him feel better. I listened carefully when they explained what the were and how to use them to Mother. Now I’ll be able to help Brother if there’s no one else around to help him!
I spent all day running around the camp with Brother and some of the younger kits. I think I’m the fastest, but Brother said he was letting me win. My paws started to hurt, so I took a break and sat outside of the medicine den. I probably imagined it, but I think I saw the medicine cat staring at me. I tried to ignore it. I assumed my fur must have looked wild after all of the running and playing. They stopped staring after a while, so I just went back to playing. It was lots of fun. One of the older apprentices. . .
I woke up from a really weird dream today. I don’t quite remember much about it now, but I told Brother when he woke up. He said I just had fluff in my brain, so we argued about it until we weren’t really sure what we were arguing about anymore. After we were exhausted from fighting we shared a rabbit with our Mother and. . .
Last night I dreamed of lots of starry cats! They didn’t talk to me and I didn’t talk to them, but I watched all of them walk around. At first I thought I was seeing StarClan cats, but I know that couldn’t be. Only medicine cats and Clan leaders can talk to StarClan. I’m not either of those things. But it was cool to see them. I hope I dream about them again. The star sparkling in their pelts were really pretty. . .
I’ve been catching the medicine cat and their apprentice glancing at me a lot recently. Even WindClan’s leader has joined in on it. I’ve been trying to behave and I thought I was doing well, but I can’t seemed to shake their watchful eyes. I’ve tried to hide in the nursery for the past two days just in case I’m in trouble, but Mother says I need to get some fresh air. I’ll tell you what happens when I come back from outside.
If I wasn’t in trouble before, I am now. I could feel the medicine cats watching me and I just had enough of it! I wasn’t thinking and I stomped right up to them and asked them what their problem was and they just looked at each other and talked to me like I was a newborn kit! Their excuse for staring was anything special either. I think a lot of other cats saw me march up to the medicine cats, so I’ll be in a lot of trouble as soon as Mother finds out.
WindClan’s leader called me and Mother into their den today. I thought I was in trouble for sure, especially when I noticed the medicine cats waiting inside the leader’s den too. But things took a surprising twist. They explained to us that StarClan had sent them a message. I’m to be a medicine cat, but WindClan already has two medicine cats. RiverClan, however. . .
Mother was too upset for more than a day before she was ready to talk to anyone. I was upset, but not like Mother. I didn’t want to leave WindClan! I stayed in my nest and thought about it for a long time. I’m a WindClan cat and I know that in my heart, but all of the sudden I couldn’t stop thinking about those cats with the stars in their pelts. Those were StarClan cats. I realized that there was a lot about the world that I still didn’t know and I wasn’t going to be happy until I learned all of those things. I knew in my heart what the right thing to do was. I told Mother that too and I think that she knew too.
I am 6 moons old today. Brother and I had two different ceremonies. My brother is finally a ‘paw now, but I’m not. Brother is still a WindClan cat, but I am not for long. Things are changing and they are changing fast. Today I took on my new name. I asked for my name to be changed from Sparrow to Moor, in memory of my true home in WindClan. I’m not afraid to go to RiverClan anymore, but I am afraid to leave everything I’ve ever known behind. But now I have my name to comfort me. I will always be my mother’s Sparrow, but I am Moorkit now. I leave for RiverClan soon and there I will recieve my apprentice name and become a RiverClan cat.

Kit ~ When LilacPool was born, her litter was about a moon premature. She was the weakest of her litter. When her father saw her eyes he claimed that she should die because she would never be more than a failure. Her mother always tried to support her daughter but had to split with her father because of it. LilacPool often blames herself for her mother's depression and her father leaving her family. Her siblings always stuck up for her though. Her mother had to often take her to the Medicine Cat to help her grow strong enough to become a warrior apprentice.
Apprentice ~ She became an apprentice three moons late and was awful at it. All throughout her short four moon apprenticeship, the other cats would prank her, and make fun of her eye. She became very self-conscious during this time and became very introverted as well. Her siblings weren't always there for her but they tried their hardest to help her out when needed. She eventually went to the leader and asked to be retired.
Retired/Elder ~ Now she is retired, at only 10 moons. She tries to consistently help out her clan though she can't do much.
