Spikes lay there, looking up at the sky, and almost felt like humming, but he looked over and saw Miko and didn't.

I wish I could just have this place to myself, but no. Spikes sat up, looking around, his eyes settling on the nursing area.

Maybe I can hear news on the kits...

He got up, padding over to the nursing area, hoping that there would be kits coming soon.

Shadows eyes flickered with hostility. She didn't like this new place. The fact that they called her a prisoner made her even more upset. Though her thoughts were more occupied about the kits. She couldn't think of anyone who could be the father. She put her thoughts aside as she saw someone coming.

Spikes walked up, noticing a wolf he hadn't seen before, one that wasn't familiar to him. "Who are you and are you having pups?"

As soon as he realized how stupid that sounded, he shut his mouth. Seriously? You don't just go around asking if wolfs are having pups!

He turned away from her with the intent to walk back to the field.

Spikes turned back around to look at Shadow. "Shadow, huh? Aren't you one of the new prisoners?" He ignored Shadow's question. Why should I give her my name? Not like I will her talk to her again...

Shadow held back a growl. "yes" she said, her icy blue eyes glaring at him.

Miko's blue eyes flickered over to Spikes, seeing him go over to the nursing area. Mumbling something under his breath, the black wolf stood up, stretching his hind legs. "I should do something helpful to the pack, they'd like that, right?" He smiled slightly, "Maybe...not....they barely know me so, would it be weird?" He questioned himself.
Practically, now fumes made from sheer doubt were rising above the black wolf before he shook his head. Trotting off, into thickets and trees.

Spikes hid his sympathy for the other wolf. It must be hard being separated from the other wolves... Spikes turned away, leaving the nursery behind his back. His feet lead him back to the field, which was now empty. He lay down, resting, but staying partially alert, not daring to fall asleep in case any predators found him.

He’d done nothing to provoke them, and yet they still managed to treat him like some kind of low-life piece of vulture food. The gray wolf let out another growl and laid his head on his paws, watching the clearing through half-closed eyes.

Rio walked over to the wolf in front of her. Being her curious self she asked him, “why are you here? Your mouse right?” She smiled her eyes twinkling with happiness that she finally met some other new wolves.
