Fernkit dramatically flopped into the ground. Ugh she was so tired. She looked around for someone to talk to.

Dragging herself towards Rainywhisker with a snort at the leader and deputy's absence, Lilyleap figured she could help. I can't move around much, but I can arrange nests. she mewed.

Cursing himself for missing the tiny hunting patrol, Fleetwind bounded up. I can help hunt if you want. he mewed, hoping he wasn't to late. It didn't matter what this cat said. He was hunting anyway, because the clan needed food. @implimm

Linnetwing wanted to do something too, besides sittinga nd doing nothing. "I can take a patrol to do some hunting. I bet we're all hungry and I am still 100%.", she meowed. This was her beloved clan and she would do anything to help her clanmates in need. Linnetwing looked at her classmates, hearing that some would do some hunting.

Blizzardpaw couldn't help but get from his paws and run up to Rainwhisker. "Is there anything I can do?" He meowed eagerly, not wating to sit around and do nothing.

Breezehen approached Rainywhisker, face no longer blistered, but skin still raw and peeling, and eyes glazed over. "Rainywhisker, is there something I can help with. I- I still have not regained my sight, but perhaps I could help carry excess materials?"
She didn't want to be useless, she didn't want to sit and do nothing. She'd already done plenty of that since the fire, but now was the time to help the clan pick themselves up.


"And, um. On an unrelated note, have you seen Moonmallow? She was supposed to go with one of the hunting patrols and never came back, and the patrol said she never went with them."

Sageflurry
The Warrior followed behind her clanmates, keeping an expressionless face as they trudged back to the ashes they called home. In reality, it could have been worse, there was still some greenery, and at this point she wouldn't at all be surprised if the forest had evolved to work with the fires...with how many Thunderclan has had to endure.

Once they had stopped Sageflurry simply looked around, watching as her clanmates attempted to do something with their paws. She had assumed it was eating away at them, the inability to do...well to them it must feel like everything. The Calliby had noticed that...well the Warriors seemed to be leading the clans more than their actual leading authorities were. Which didn't really sit very well...with the molly. But, she decided to look no furhter into it. "A task please." she said towards Rainywhisker, tail swaying back and fourth.

Blazingpaw
The Tortoiseshell let out a snort as he paused his pacing. "So I'm going to go ahead and guess this is where we're making camp?" he asked, eyes narrowing as he looked around at the Warriors. It seemed as though all they were doing was hopping from one place to another it was driving him up a wall. "Let's hurry up and get whatever we need to over with. I'm telling you now. I'm going to help build dens. Not going material hunting again that didn't go well last time." the Apprentice stated.

As another yowl split the air, Frostpaw put on another burst of speed as all attention was directed toward it. Finally, they were heading back home! Or, to what was left of it. Lionpaw would be with her, so Frostpaw was fine for the time being. Her paws were throbbing, though the excitement of returning to the beautiful territory of thunderclan.
Frostpaw touched her nose to the tip of Lionpaw’s charred tail, letting him know she was there and well. Her paws were beginning to feel sticky and melty, so it was best if they hurried up. She was mostly trying not to whimper and make a fool of herself. Especially in front of LionPaw, he was so brave! The golden Tom always knew what he was doing, and Frostpaw felt proud to be his friend.
After all, it beat being lonely all day.
“Are you alright? Does your tail still hurt?”
Yelped Frostpaw, as the large group began to slow down. Lionwhisker would be nearby, right? “I swear, if your hurt and not telling me I’ll- i’ll- uh...... smack you! Yea, I’ll smack you!”

He didn't know what he'd expected, but it certainly wasn't the surge of cats who now approached him all offering the various services they needed. Rainywhisker's expression remains sternly fixed, his lips tight as he listened and absorbed what each of the cats were saying. After what felt like a wave of them washing over him, the warrior decides to focus first on Lilyleap.
"Thank you, you can do just that," he meows with a light smile. He appreciated her offer. "Would you mind making some nests for our kits first? We seem to have an influx of them this season, and they could probably use some rest. I'm sure their mothers could as well." As he speaks, he glances at the one kit who'd flopped over not too far off. [ @gs29513 ]

Thinking fast, he looks at three of the apprentices who had approached. "You three," he says, beckoning to Mudpaw, Blizzardpaw, and Blazingpaw. "You follow Lilyleap. Blizzardpaw, I want you to help Lilyleap out. And once you're done with making nests for the queens, you can make sure Lionwhisker and Condorpaw have a few for themselves and their patients." Pausing to ensure the tom understood, he glances at Mudpaw and Blazingpaw. Blazingpaw was cocky, and he didn't much care for the pushy attitude. "Apprentices don't typically get a say in their duties, Blazingpaw," Rainywhisker reminds him with an edge to his tone. "You and Mudpaw will start making the den for the queens. And on top of that, anything they need, you two will help them with." [ @Tigerstorm0926 @Blitz @Starfall ]

With those four sorted, the warrior shifts gears and turns to the nearest warrior to him, who happened to be Breezehen. He cannot help the flash of pity in his deep orange eyes as he looks at the she-cat. But it disappears in a flash. She was strong enough to stand here asking him about what she should be doing, he wouldn't look down on her for it. "Thank you, Breezehen. I don't want you overexerting yourself though." Looking at the cats that remained, he flicks his tail to Fleetwind. "Fleetwind, we still need a lot of materials. Primarily moss and whatever undergrowth we can weave some walls and roofs out of. But it would probably do us good to have a couple of decent sticks to prop that all up with. Could you please go out with Breezehen and bring whatever you can carry back?" The question wasn't so much of an actual question, but rather a demand. He'd caught the glint in the tom's eyes as he spoke of hunting before, and wanted to assure him that it wasn't going to happen. "I appreciate it. And-" He looks at Breezehen again. "I haven't seen them, I'm sorry. I'll keep an eye out though?" [ gs29513 , @Rainquail ]

"Linnetwing, Sageflurry," he finally gets to them. With a sheepish smile, the warrior nods. "We do need food, indeed. It would probably be a good idea to stock as much as we can up, so I would like it if you led patrols out. You two can take whoever you want with you. Or, go out together." He didn't know how patrols worked, as much as he wanted to try and pass off some sort of confidence. He wasn't even sure how he was still talking and thinking of what they needed to be doing. Clearing his throat a bit, he nods to the two she-cats again. "That's all." [ @Sparkling Flower Starfall ]

After everything is said and done, Rainywhisker takes a deep breath before sitting down for a few heartbeats. Yeesh.

Linnetwing nodded towards Rainywhisker and looked around the clearing. She spotted a few warriors who didn't look like they were hurt. She padded up to them. "Mumblefoot[ @Mumble; ], Pineapple[ @Elementals; ], Owlwather [ @Shimm; ], and Pinepaw [ @Shadeleaf; ] I want you four to come with me to do some hunting. If you don't feel up to it tell me, but our clan needs as much food as we can get.", she meowed. Linnetwing hoped nobody would complain. She was just trying to help out her clanmates.

The silver tabby she-cat looked at them before looking over at Sageflurry[ @Starfall; ]. "Your free to join us too Sageflurry or you could go by yourself it's really up to you.", Linnetwing meowed. She didn't want to leave them out of this.
