Lark wrinkled his nose. "What do they taste like?" he asked. "Are the scales good? The only time I tried one was when there was this dead one on the bank. I got pretty sick, but that was because it wasn't fresh."

"well they are ok. I prefer mice and rabbits more though." she said.

"Yeah, sure." Lark jumped to his paws. "Where to? I just came here from a different area, because the rogues there were getting really pushy and they would have beat me up, so I just left and came here a couple days ago, so I don't really know the good hunting spots yet. Where should we go?"

"over here is always a good spot" she pointed with her tail to the right. Stream sat up and began to head over to there. She pointed her nose to the air to scent prey. A heartbeat later she caught the smell of a plump rabbit near by. She got into a crouch and stalked it. Once she was close enough she pounced and finished it off with a bite in the neck.

"Ooh, nice." Lark paused and sniffed the air, searching for other prey. Almost immediately, he scented a mouse. Pinpointing it, he crouched and stalked it. As he was nearing it, he cracked a stick. The mouse, alerted by the sound, took off, but Lark captured it with a huge leap. Slightly embarrased by his near miss, he trotted back to Stream.
