~Set in the 16-1700's~

Imagine this: A young woman with a slim figure, but tall; her hair is flowing down her shoulders like a waterfall, colored as black as a raven's feathers. She wears a captain's hat with a bright, beautiful red feather stuck in the dark red band wrapped around the black velvet hat. Upon her neck rests a choker, glittering with a blood red ruby. She wears a feminine version of the classic captain uniform, and at her side is a pistol. In her gloved hands, she holds a classic pirate cutlass with a ruby inlaid in the center of the handle.

Her eyes are a cold, fierce blue. Her face is emotionless as she walks away from a building going up in flames. A shout rings out from behind her, but she ignores it, glancing down at her newest treasure; Poseidon's Trident. A smile tugs at her red lips, and she raises her sword, slicing down at a potential attacker. Her eyes glitter with malice as she grabs hold of a rope, and is lifted into the air. She salutes the people below, as she disappears into the clouds and reappears on a magnificent ship.

The ship is a dark oak wood with gold trimming. Massive dragons surround the ship, each holding it up with their strength and might. The wind up here is dead calm, but the air surrounding the ship is brutal, cold. As the woman steps on the ship, she holds up the Trident and a cheer goes through the crowd.

Captain Ruby the Dragon Queen has been victorious.

So, this takes place in a mythological world similar to that of our own. Dragons are real, but a rarity; many still believe that they are mere fairytales. However, Captain Ruby knows very well that they exist; she commands seven of them. Her ship flies high above the clouds, unseen. Ruby's crew plunders and steals from anywhere interesting, slowly gaining enough power for Ruby's plan.

Powers are provided by gems; Rubies, Diamonds, Sapphires, you name it. The power relates to the gem, like Rubies are fire, Diamonds air, and Sapphires water. So far, Ruby is the only one with a Ruby Gem.

Dragons are paired with each Pirate, giving them ample power to use on raids. They are similar to the gem, and are paired with similar gem-users (Aka: Fire dragon with a Ruby user.)

Ronan walked into port. Her sword by her side and a pistol strapped along the side of her chest. She looked at the others around her. She glared at them all. Her golden eyes outlined in eyeliner were mesmerizing to those who dare look into them. She was known not to love anyone, and if she did, they would usually die soon after. She smirked at the thought as she continued to walk. Her boots clanking on the dock.
