Cinder returned later, “ ‘nother loner.” She muttered. She looked back at the kit, studying him for a second. “What are you doing this far in the forest, alone?” She asked.

"Exploring," Galahad answered, sitting up once more. For once, his housefolk took off his collar, and that allowed him to roam without catching attention from unwanted animals like dogs.

“You should be careful.” Said Cinder, a slight undertone of warning in her voice. “Most cats won’t take kindly to intruders on their territory. If it’d been some other cat, Chances are high that they would have attacked you.” She said, sitting down, curling her tail around her paws. “Where are your parents? You're just a kit.”

Galahad blinked. He knew about the chances of being attacked, but did she not know about separations of families? "I don't know. Got separated from them when I was 14 weeks old, along with the rest of my siblings."

Cinder pricked her ears up. She understood now. “Oh. You're a kittypet, aren’t you.” She said, knowingly. She had been a kitty pet too, at one point. She winced internally at the memory. She was lucky she had run away when she did. She looks back at the kit. “Do you like life as a kittypet?” @Kyrieknight

Galahad shrugged. "It has its ups and downs. I don't have to worry about food or survival, but I also don't get much freedom."

Just to explore?” She asks, realizing he doesn’t have a collar on. “Or are you running away?” It was a logical conclusion to come too, since He was a kittypet without a collar. @Kyrieknight

"Exploring," the white tom answered, shaking his fur free of invisible dust. "I like to explore for long periods of times, and my housefolk often go on long trips. They decided to leave me without a collar this time, but left me with plenty of food, along with the dog."
