Finpaw stared down silently, He didn't know what to say either. He hiccupped and sniffled as he shifted closer. Silvercloud's earlier words rang through his mind 'honeypaw likes you', He wasn't stupid he got the implications. That thought gave him butterflies, so in this moment, that's what he'd think about. He buried his face in Honeypaw's fur once more.

"Are you okay now?" He spoke softly, no wanting to spook the orange tom. "I can take you back to the apprentices' den so you can rest?"

"C...Can we just stay here?" He said with a sniffle, pinning his ears back "I.. I can't go back there right now..." He murmured into Honeypaw's side. The small orange tom whimpered pitifully.

Honeypaw blinks and nods, wrapping his tail the best he can around the other apprentice, bringing him closer and purring softly.
"We can. We can stay here as long as you need."
He began grooming Finpaw, trying to bring him more at ease. He adored the tom and he didn't want anything bad to happen to him. He's protect him with his own life and comfort him with all his might. Hopefully he was doing good enough right now though.

The orange tom quickly began to doze off. The small apprentice began to quietly snore as sleep finally took over the riverclan tom.

Honeypaw attempted to curl up around him the best he could, not being much bigger than the other tom. Still, he did the best he could, rasping his tongue over his companion's orange fur comfortingly. He heard his breath grow slower and deeper, telling him he'd fallen asleep. Smiling, he lays his head on Finpaw's back, not sleeping but just being comfortable there.
