She attempted to drop on top of him and put all her weight on him before he could get her, but if this failed she would fall over.

Chance's eyes widened as he watched the molly drop. He rolled onto his back, and thrust out with his paws.

She tumbled away from him, attempting to scramble to her paws and if she wasn’t jumped on by him try to kick him in his belly hopefully before he could get up.

Chance rolled across the ground again, leaping up. He ran at Honeydew in what looked like an attempt to headbutt her. The grey tom then slid under her, drawing his paws along her stomach. When he reached her behind, he mewed, "And if that was a real fight, you'd be dead."
