Oh wow, a training event? She perked up immediately, thinking of the techniques she would learn. Bluebellcrackle hadn't really taken her out to train on anything major, so this was her chance!

Ferretpaw flicked his ears, a little lazily as he padded out of the apprentice den. Pricking his ears he caught the last bit of what was happening and padded forward. He spotted a good ammount of warrior's including his bestfriend Robinpaw! He trotted over to Robinpaw, smiling in amusement. "What's going on exactly?" He asked, watching the other ctas in intrest.

Hazelspring kept quiet but acknowledged Slatestripe's command with a nod. The small tom got up and began to trail behind the other warrior to the beach, empty yellow eyes scanning the area. Hm.

Mintpaw had been unsure if going over and join her clanmates. But she had duties; and if she could learn something with Slatestripe's help, maybe she shouldn't refuse the opportunity. She wasn't lazy, ever.
Her white and gray shaded pelt appeared from the apprentices' den, where she had spent quite some time grooming herself and making sure no bumps remained in her fur. She hated bumps.
Padding up graciously, she chose a spot behind the mass of cats and fixed her eyes on the gray warrior that was addressing them. This would be her first battling training, but she wasn't worried. She could still choose to stay back and observe the others doing the work, learning from their movements, choices, mistakes.

Event [#event]Slatestripe led the group of cats to Lionsbeach. The waves slapped against the shore, creating a peaceful sound that ranked high up among Slatestripe’s favorite. He wanted to pause to take in the beauty of the ocean before him, but there were more important matters at hand.
He sprang up onto a large piece of driftwood that had washed ashore. He turned to look down on the cats who were in attendance. “Thank you for your attendance!” he called. “I am going to re-state at this point that only apprentices with existing battle training may participate in this event. If you are an apprentice that has not received battle training, you may still watch. Everyone else, listen closely!
“I want everyone here to find a partner. Again, your partner should either be a warrior or an apprentice with existing battle training. If there’s an odd number of participants, either myself or Reedwhisker will partner with the odd cat out.” 
( Everyone will have ~48 hours to respond before I’ll make my next post! )
