Specklekit nodded sadly. She had never really thought about what being an apprentice was like. It would mean saying goodbye to those carefree days. "So after you become an apprentice, you're always busy, 'till you're an elder?" she asked, turning back to Moorpaw.
Moorpaw blinked. She hadn't meant it that way at all. "Not really. If you decide not to cram all of your training to become a warrior as soon as possible, you can actually have loads of free time for games."
She flicked her ear as she thought. "Besides, I know it's preferred we take our time rather than rush our training."
Her tail plopped against the ground and then set about rhythmically flicking the tip of her tail back and forth.

Tumblebreath hopped up excitedly, trotting over as the young
kitten finished explaining. "Count me in!" He smiled,
feeling happy to do something finally.
Lynxyowl bumped against Silentleap.
“Should we participate? I mean, it sounds fun.”
Silentleap looked up from his spot.
“Why not?”
Lynxyowl nodded and forced Silentleap up, then walked towards the kit.

She trotted over and plopped herself nearby. She spotted Silentleap and Lynxowl and honestly kind of prayed there'd be more cats showing up. She didn't know if games like these happened often or what the usual participant rate was, but she'd feel silly if she was the only young cat that showed interest in this game.

Moorpaw stifled a yawn as she grew impatient with waiting for this event to start, but at least Specklekit offered a decent distraction.
Her gaze lowered the meet the kit's and she tilted her head to the side quizzically. "I don't know what you did. Will you tell me about it?"
Her head turned to face Shadykit as she asked if everyone was ready to play. With how long they'd been waiting, she sure hoped everyone that had dragged their butts over would be ready to start.

Specklekit stood silently for a moment (to play up the suspense). "I.."" she whispered, "I walked in a bunch of circles 'round the clearing. Like a lot of circles," she bragged. She carefully inspected Mistkit, waiting for the effect to set in.
