Starrypaw peeked out of the apprentices' den with a curious glance at Seabreeze. Uh... it's storytime! Oh stars, she'd never heard of any tales since she was a little kit! And maybe she could finally spend some time with Wisteriawren's and his mentor's kittens!

She padded out under the sunlight and breathed in the warm newleaf breeze. It was peaceful, and this reminded her that she was coming close to her apprenticeship time.

Eh..? Starlingkit’s never heard of any stories before— Well, ones that sounded interesting enough for her to remember anyway. But hey, she was interested nonetheless, when was the last time she heard a story anyway? Some cats are..particularly interested..or..bouncing with excitement let’s say.. but “what do you think these are gonna be about?” asked to..whoever that kit next to her was.. Dunno. C’mon, you think she socialized enough to know every kit’s name?

Curing boredom was the quickest way to get the white kit's attention, and no sooner had the warrior uttered the words than Snowkit had peaked out of the nursery and trotted over. So,it sounded like these wouldn't just be stories - not little moral lessons wrapped up in cool tale - but actual history! As in, he would get to hear about what had happened before he was born. Even better!

He heard his sister already on the case about the truth of the stories, so Snowkit didn't bother asking for clarification himself, and instead settled down close enough to hear clearly, looking around at the other kits gathering as he did. There was a queen there too with her kits, and an apprentice he hadn't seen before, but fur was pretty and Snowkit gave them a welcoming nod, half-planning to sit next to them, but his attention was instead grabbed by Starlingkit. "Hm, I'm not sure." His gaze drifted over to the story-teller. "But I hope they're completely real, you know? Like I hope he won't exagerate things just to make them more interesting - I want to know what actually happened!"

He was quiet for moment before he turned to Starlingkit again. "It will involve some great leader or a battle at least, I think. Do you have a guess?"

Sprucekit padded over and sat at the edge of the forming group. Oh historical stories were what she was interested, scary ones she could take or leave.

Stormwish smiled at the tom-kit, wrapping their fluffy tail around them. Noticing how excited Fumblekit looked, the black teardrop marked queen smiled. "It'll be a good few stories, sweetheart! Seabreeze is good with telling them." Dark blue eyes glimmered as they looked around briefly, before.Storm bent to lick their kit gently, grooming him.

Scary stories?? Holy Moly!!

Pikekit practically sprinted over as he heard it being announced, this was exactly what he needed to stop the boredom creeping in. Looks like Frigidkit was already here, he barrelled straight over. ”No fun without me!!!” He stuck out his tongue and blew a raspberry.

”The ghosts might eat you….” His voice an eerie mimic of Mama Wren.
