She head butted him playfully. I caught you another rabbit, six times the size of your dumb mouse! Copper retorted with a light growl. She grinned at him.

He laughed, Fair enough. I guess you did. he said. He finished his prey and got up to shake the last of the sleep. He then went towards the den entrance, sort of a dusty mess by now, and rolled in the dust. He had always made a habit of it. It seemed to keep bugs off of him.

Copper rolled her eyes at him. Rolling in the dust. Such a tom thing. She settled down nearby {far enough away the cloud of dust didn't come and engulf her} and watched him as she chewed on the vole.

He got up and shook some of the excess dirt. He got some on Copper, to mess with her. She seemed too uptight sometimes, but most of the time she was a goofball with him. Well then. That's done. he said, padding to a trail of pebbles that led up to the top of the den. He had found he liked sitting on top of the cave, wind buffeting his fur, staring at the sky, thinking.
