``Well for the most part they are just bein' bugs.`` He chuckled, watching a ladybug crawl on his paw. usually he'd take them to a little log where they would remain unless given a reason to go. ``None of them have died or anything, so i'd say good.``

He smiled at that, looking at the ladybug crawl on Peppermintpaw's paw. "Well thats good. I only have this guy, he seems to like me well enough."

"Right?" He squeaked, scarring the butterfly a little as it crawled on Peppermintpaw's paw along with the ladybug. "I mean, they are adorable, i like ants to." He said in a quieter tone to not scare the bugs.

He chuckled at the kits burst of excitement, careful not to harm the butterfly or the lady bug. His head tilted as he admired their colors. ``I'd say I like fireflies most..``

"Ive never seen them." He mewed, joining the older tom in looking at the bugs. "What do they look like?"

He gaped, eyes wide. ``Really?! Oh wow!`` Peppermintpaw frantically tried to describe them. ``Well, they come out at night! They glow in the dark so it makes everything look super pretty!``

He giggled slightly at the apprentices excitment to answer his question. "So their kinda like stars made out of bugs?"

``Yes! exactly that! One day you'll see them for sure!`` He glanced back down at the bugs, hoping he hadn't spooked them that bad. ``Sorry if i was loud..``

The bugs backed off Peppermintpaw's paw, instead both crawling in circles with eachother on the ground. Kinda like playing. "Maybe just a tiny bit, but i was to." He grinned, looking at the tom happily.
