The tom paused. Silence. No scent. No traces. He paused. It was most likely they were gone, for good, but he didn't have the heart right now to tell the molly. "Foxblaze, how long ago did you last see them? If it was a while ago ... they are most likely ... gone. But we'll keep looking, okay? Just breathe" He smiled softly at the she-cat, eyes glistening with sympathy and pity as he tried to be comforting. "Everything will be okay" he kept repeating it, sadness breaking through.

FloodFrost He/Him

The SedgeWater Valley,Something that forced you to get out and see its beauty. It was more marvellous after each day of the running clear water. It was something Floodfrost never ever took at as one of natures beauties. It was better when it was iced over and the freezing grip of death and Frost rippled over the surface. It was the bridge over to the worlds of everless grass and wind that touched over everyhair of your pelt. It was so pretty to him,Floodfrost always was allowed late night tours with Butterflydust as long as they didn't get caught.
Butterflydust.
The name empowered her soft but also hard personility and the poison that could rip your heart out of you dared to get too close.Something he had never got hurt by because he knew his own limits and had learned hers as an apprentince and often found her at gatherings.
The windclan shecat was opposite of him,open and free while he was closed off and never thought of freedom unless it was given or made and craved by the cats own claws,something he never dreamed of. But it was late in the darkness and despair he called the loveless nighttime. The cold Temperature he found so comforting and that had sheltered him and the useless cats that did nothing for their lives.
He refused to be useless like the others in his clan,to him everything had its role in life an in a clan,if you could not fill it there were plenty more who can replace you,the he saw was way different than Butterflydust's,or at least he thought.
He somehow had never really had asked personal question like that,the relationship as friends did just fine with him,there was telling what trick and thing Butterflydust would pull next. He liked his calm but serious personility but Butterfly was a wonder to him,She was open but also took things serious like him but she was often more sweet about it than he his more or less demanding tone some times.

Butterflydust - She/They

She quietly snuck up behind him. Well hello there. She smiled at him. Floodfrost was boring too her at some points. Although they are best friends (besties.) Butterflydust couldn't help but insult him every now and then. I hope you know. Nobody likes you still.You should really stop just looking at our border, you know.Its very weird. Are you stalking me? She smiled and giggled at her own words for a bit.

She wandered around for a bit. She noticed A small group of butterflies. She loved to see all their pretty colors. She put her paw out. She did this because insect somehow loved her. It was weird. Which she thought she mother named her after. As she smiled and looked back to tomioka Floodfrost. She thought to herself for a bit. Until the butterfly flew away.

Butterfly never liked clanmates. How do you stand those things. I'm talking about kittens. They are too furry for me. She looked at him in disgust. You could tell that she had a pure hatred for them. Anything furry in fact. Which was a bit weird considering she herself was furry. It was the weirdest thing to think of.

Where was Crowspeck? Bearbranch didn't know where the cat once and the patrol was on a time limit so they had to get a move on. Hopefully they would join in later. "Fallownose, let's get a move on. I'm sure Crowspeck will join us." Bearbranch said as he started to make his way to the border.

Fallownose nodded, following Bearbranch. As much as he didn't like leaving Clanmates behind, they had a patrol to do. If Crowspeck wasn't going to show up then that was that.

As the pair reached the border Bearbranch began marking around as usual but noticed something very weird. Was it.. a dog kit? Bearbranch stopped in his tracks as it wobbly walked right next a raging river. By the way it was walking it seemed it could fall in at any moment. He looked around and saw no trace of its mother, which was a good thing. He didn't want to have to deal with two dogs. Bearbranch thought about saving the dog kit but realized he didn't care. It would be a good thing to have one less of those dogs going around.

Fallownose glanced at where Bearbranch was looking, an audible gasp leaving his mouth. A small dog... it must be a kit, or whatever the equivalent was, was about to fall into the river. There was no mother in sight, and it would surely die if it fell in! "Shouldn't we do something? The poor thing will die if it falls in."

Bearbranch was a bit surprised that Fallownose thought it was a good idea to try and save the dog kit. "That thing doesn't need to be around, if we save it that'll just be more trouble in the future for WindClan and possibly even the other clans, and we don't want to get blamed for that." Bearbranch finished up his marking and went over to Fallownose as he spoke.
