Re: WindClan Clearing
[ @Shimm ]
Heathernose dissolved into laughter at the idea of being sent to clean the elder’s den. The tortoiseshell molly loved that he continued the joke and she poked back with a teasing smile,
“Oh yeah! I’d like to see you try!”
Those were probably the most antagonistic words she’d ever said to Brindlejaw, but they fit the mood. She usually felt bad for joking this way with cats since they could easily take her words the wrong way, but Heathernose trusted Brindlejaw not to twist her words or get offended. It felt wonderfully freeing to not have to worry about every word around the tortoiseshell tom and Heathernose wondered if that was the culprit behind her bright mood every time she thought of him. It seemed possible since her mood brightened noticeably every time she thought of Wolfbound too and she hadn’t ever felt concerned when teasing her.

Re: WindClan Clearing
Talonkit padded out of the nursery, into the clearing. Using her whiskers and nose to guide her, she carefully picked her way around the clearing. She soon became more confident, starting to trot and then even speed up to a run before crashing headfirst into the hard muscles of a warrior's shoulder. She squeaked in surprise as she tumbled to the ground, landing in a patch of dust. The impact was not hard, but it was enough. She felt the warrior's gaze turn to her. She lowered her head, her blind grey eyes not seeing the ground. She dreaded whatever the large cat had to say about this...

Re: WindClan Clearing
@Moonraven
Her kind words sent a rush of warmth blossoming through Hivekit, and then another when the kit felt Deadpools tail brush against her flank. She bet her mother was here, helping along, even in death! "Famx, debpul. Yew mak me mno sab." Though there seemed to be some sadness behind the gesture. It perked Hivekit's curiosity, and she wanted to know more. Sadly, that would have to wait. They had a Cinderkit to catch!
Giving a small purr of happiness, Hivekit bounced in the direction of the scent. Bouncing was hard. She had to avoid all the small pebbles dug into the ground, while avoiding other cats, while trying to keep Deadpool from drawing her tail back.
Yet, Hivekit liked to think of bouncing as a show of optimism, despite just finding out her mother had died. She could cry about it later, but definitely not in front of Deadpool. They had to give the signal first.
As she neared another spot smelling like her sister, one she assumed had just been a temporary hideout, Hivekit whipped around only to slump down.
Ugh, why was bouncing so distracting? It was as if her mind could only focus on one thing at once. Causing her to abandon the scent completely. But also causing her to recognize something new in it.
"wi smel wik mos? sin-durkip mno smel wik mos. amd odr kaps!"
Her words were followed by sharp "Oh!" of recognition, and Hivekit patiently turned to the blob of scent that was Deadpool waiting silently for them to catch on.

Re: WindClan Training Moor
[ @ .Bread. ]
Stormstrike led Snailpaw to the training moor. It was time for her apprentice to learn how to fight. "Today, we're going to be doing battle training," the yellow she-cat told Snailpaw.

And it confused her! She used to know what she could about her clanmates, used to be able to make them feel all giddy and flustered and she felt strange being on the receiving side of it for once. "Oh my love? My dearest, the taker of my ever flowing and plusing heart?" she tried to let out a small laugh, "It's Moonbird. Ya ever heard of her? Small pretty cute grey molly. Diluted tortie. Well... she is from Thunderclan as well. Ran her over quite a few times on... trips."

Lotuspool shrugged, "Well, the name sounds familiar. I might've met her at a gathering" she responded. Well, this was getting quite interesting, as far as Lotuspool was concerned. The thing was, she didn't have anyone that she really, well, loved like that. And she was pretty sure she was fine with that. At least for now. "what's it like to love someone?" she asked. Oh my stars, why did she ask that? It sounded like such an immature question! Well, what's done is done, or, at least, that's what she felt was true.

Snailpaw followed her mentor, and sat down. When the young apprentice head "battle training," she got excited. "Yay, battle training!" she said, getting all hyped up.

"First, I'm going to teach you a simple attack. You want to start most things off with an attack crouch," Stormstrike said, getting into position. She then lunged forward, swiped at the air, and leapt a couple tail-lengths back. Stormstrike remembered how she had never been able to get this move right when she was an apprentice. "Now you try it. Remember to keep your claws sheathed."
