ThunderClan: Life Before 2023's Sinkhole

Bumbleflight huffed hearing the reassignments. It wasn't unusual for some number of warriors to disappear and leave their apprentices without mentors, but this was more than he expected. Perhaps they had their reasons, but he doubted it. It seemed his sister, Berryspot, had also gotten an apprentice, and he hoped they'd get along well enough.

Nonetheless, despite the reassignment news that left a somewhat bitter taste in his mouth, Bumbleflight acknowledged the two soon-to-be apprentices with a nod. Hopefully whoever mentored them would be able to turn them into great warriors of ThunderClan.

Stars, a lot of apprentices were getting reassigned! Hopefully they’d be able to finish their training without too much more difficulty. Cloudspots hadn’t seen his own apprentice since she’d burst into Sparrowstar’s den. He hoped she hadn’t run off… again.

Oriolepaw felt a slight pang of jealousy as a lot of his denmates got reassigned. His own mentor, Larkstorm, had been rather neglectful with Oriolepaw’s training. They’d only had one lesson, and Oriolepaw had been an apprentice for almost two moons. When was Larkstorm going to take him out again? Was she disappointed that he was her apprentice, and had given up on him because of that?

Ospreypaw sprinted out of the apprentices den when he heard his name being called, he chirped as he got to the warrior, “Hello my name is Ospreypaw! This is my first time patrolling a border!!”

Asterdance wasn't sure what Bumblebreak was saying in particular but there was a smile on his face, and it only doubled their own. Energy sparked from them and only was encouraged as the warrior played along. "Hehe, hehehee!!!!" They squealed, batting the fluffy tail between their rather large paws.

They turned the other way to get a little, little pawin' at Bumblebreak's maw only to get, "Argh!! Noo!!" They giggled as their nose was playfully bap at. Their whiskers twitched with amusement but suddenly, suddenly. Asterdance became still, their expression dropping into one of a very practiced (but not so great) deadpan.

Their pupils begun to dilate and slowly, slowly they lifted a paw... it was a very slow movement as they hovered it over Bumblebreak's face for a moment. Lightly, they aimed to just... a little tap. A little tap on the face. Just a small one. BEFORE THE RELENTLESS (light) BAPS WERE STARTED! PaOW, WhAM, WHACK!!

"Surrenderr!!!! I only!! Accept bribery or!!! Pleads for MERCY! Mauahaha!!!" Asterdance declared with an evil laughter, their sentence interrupted by their own snorts and snickers. It was nice to act like a kit.

A patrol. Sure, why not. Rising from where she had been grooming herself, Emberpaw padded forward, dipping her head to Ashblaze.
"I am ready. Where is Lavendermask?" She inquired, looking about the gathered cats.

Tulippaw

It was weird to hear her sister's call from the Thunderwillow again. Not because Tulippaw wasn't used to Sparrowflight being Sparrowstar (well, it was little bit that, but she didn't care as much anymore, it started to feel more normal) but because it was so soon after the last meeting. Had Thunderclan increased the frequency of them lately, or was there just something big that needed to be reported? Either way, the sand-colored apprentice took a seat near the Thunderwillow and angled her soft ears towards her order sister to listen to the meeting.
