Fennelcall padded into the camp swiftly, a sleeping calico kit clutched in his jaws by the scruff, the young kit had slept through the entire journey from Sagewater Valley to the heart of Riverclan, not even regaining their consciousness when the lilac tabby stumbled on a tree root, which intern made him worry that their body had shut down to try and stay alive. He placed the fluffy kitten down by his paws, gently nudging them "Wake up little one, we're here now." the poor kit had been abandoned by its parents, and something about that that Fennelcall couldn't wrap his head around was that the kit hadn't even open their eyes yet. He know that rouges and loners acted a bit different to clan cats concerning kin but he was certain that they wouldn't just leave them to die.

He now had two things to worry about, finding this kit a queen to nurse them and- well, Pikestar. A feeling of apprehension sent a shiver up his spine, talking to the leader concerning the young kitten seemed quite daunting to him, by stars Fennelcall had no arguments for them staying other than the warrior code saying you should assist kits no matter what. As the tom looked around camp he spotted the deputy, Gingerfrost, mid conversation, with two apprentices, and he couldn't see any sign of the leader. "I need a helping paw, please!" he called to the cats in the clearing, indicating to the kit, what he really needed was a temporary foster mother for them and to speak with either Gingerfrost or Pikestar.

[I hope this is okay, I believe that maple got permission from zen for (currently unnamed) Caterpillarkit to join, I am also mentioning Estelle seeing as Gingerfrost is in the clearing currently.]

The small kit had barely woken up during the journey. Now, they yawned widely and many scents immediately flooded their senses. They coughed ang gagged, uncomfortable and feeling yucky with how many scents. They were overwhelmed. "Too many..." They murmured, and mewed at the very faint scent of milk.

Amberbright continued sharing tongues as she listened to Lilacbreeze attempt to cheer her up by being overtly flippant about her aches and pains. She halted her licks and gave an amused purr and responded with a teasing tone "Well when you get as old as I am I'm going to check in on you from StarClan. If you're complaining as much as I do now, then I'll make sure you never sleep again without hearing from me." Her face filled with a sly grin as she gave her a light shove with her stiff and graying paw. Her inquisitive new friend then shot her a question that made her feel a little sad..

Wow she really is out of the loop, she really doesn't know? Her amber eyes dropped to look at the surface of the rock they were sitting on. Its color reminded her of the missing Smallmouse, the only other elder in the clan that had recently occupied the den with her. Amberbright turned her head towards the entrance of the camp, hoping against hope that at any moment Smallmouse might suddenly limp through the heather. Logically she new better, but emotionally it was hard seeing the den become so empty again. Slowly but surely the persistent paranoid thought that she had caused Smallmouses disappearance reared it ugly head.

Her voice was far off as she responded to Lilacbreeze, the guilt weighing her down. Smallmouse...she hasn't been seen around camp lately, so I'm the only one now. Unless Smallmouse returns, that is."

"Oh, well than let's move up to a new topic than." She realized how out of touch she is, she felt sad.... But as soon as the let's move on part was said she was trying to think of what to talk about... "What would you like to talk about?" She asked trying to move on from the sadder question.

She burst out laughing, "It's been a LAKE ( long ) time sense someone made me laugh this hard-" She wheezed as she tried to catch her breath

Although Cricketsting didn't quiet understand LilacBreeze's latest pun, he shrieked a sharp laughter. Soon, he was catching his breath as well.

Copperpaw padded into the clearing near the freshkill pile and dropped his minnow. "Good fish" he whispered as it flopped to onto the pile and he walked away heading towards the apprentice den

Pearlshine sat on the side of the clearing, his off-white tail flicking side to side. It was already getting chilly, it being night. But he couldn't sleep not knowing what was going on.

Pondwhisker padded into camp, small scratched all over his nose. His stub tail was twitching slightly. His whiskers twitched as well, humming slightly to ignore the stinging on his face. A calico kit was dangled from his jaws, scruffed for the travel.

"Well, kiddo. We're here."
