He narrowed his eyes. Only to stare down at Rainpaw who had run off during the meeting. Being brought back by Batblood, thankfully. His face was unchanging and serious. His fur was brushed against by the wind, unmoving. He sighed as he said these words to his son. It didn't matter what he did, this would be his only time to redeem himself. "You can hate us for moons because of what we did. But we will still both be your parents. Even if you try to change your bloodline given for Starclan knows what." His voice was assertive. Giving Rainpaw some time to think, he could spot the fatigue worn on his face. His face relaxed with momentary silence.

"You can go take a rest. I guess that you went out for quite a long run Rainpaw." His voice was loose as he didn't even begin to dwell into more of the situation that was happening. That was to be left in the past without the tom worrying about his sisters. If they did come back to camp in splendid condition that would be amazing! His train of thought was already lost, a tranquil thinking aura already taking over him. "Erm- nevermind nevermind." He shook his head. It would be best not to hold this out.

He gave a small smile, expecting anything else than receiving back a sweet smile.

Looking up at his father, he knew that Thrushfur wasn't happy with his son. Rainpaw wanted to go to his nest and sleep, but something told him to stay, so he planted his paws in the dirt and listened to what the feathery-furred tom had to say. At least he admits it... the young tom looked down once again, unsure of what to say. But he didn't interrupt his father, Rainpaw still had a shred of respect for his parents.

"Yeah, I did. I went all the way to what I think is the... WindClan? Yeah, WindClan border," he nodded, remembering the scents that had flooded into his nose. "I didn't cross it though, don't worry."

It seemed Thrushfur was dismissing him, so Rainpaw started to walk toward the apprentice's den, but realized his father hadn't walked away yet. Looking back, the young apprentice saw that his father seemed to be a little lost in thought. But that didn't last long, so he cast a tiny, awkward smile in Thrushfur's direction before heading to his nest. Once he got inside, he breathed a sigh of relief, glad to not have gotten in too much trouble. He was unsure what Batblood would talk to Sparrowstar about, so he let that thought slip so he could drift into sleep.

Woodkit peered into the elders' den. It seemed big, and dark. "Hello?" He called in, softly, unsure if the elders were asleep or not. @SplashyLumi

The tom huffed. "I'll hold you to that." Maybe he was too quick to judge. Most apprentices he's interacted with were calmer, so he was somewhat justified in the assumption that such an energetic cat would cause more trouble. Or that's what he thought anyway.

Copperfire's ears twisted in annoyance at Blazingpaw's words. "Later. Fighting is the last thing you should be thinking about. Leafbare is coming and we need to catch enough prey to feed the clan." His hazel eyes shifted to watch the younger cat in suspicion. "I'd also rather not have you causing trouble at gatherings, the last thing we need is another battle. Just keep in mind that you can't insult cats from other clans when they're around." It's not that Copperfire liked the other clans, he was just aware of how things can go wrong with just a few words. Although words were better than claws, so he'd definitely put off battle training until he was more confident in what Blazingpaw would or wouldn't do.

Only one cat had reported back and it was an apprentice. Rage wasn't enough to describe what Copperfire was feeling. These cats have no sense of duty, of- of responsibility for their actions or rather - inactions! He flexed his claws once before taking a calming breath. It wouldn't do well to take his frustration out on the one cat that actually did as asked. As ordered!

"Thank you, Flamepaw. You're more competent than some of our warriors, it seems. I'd have preferred it if you asked a warrior or me to accompany you when Russetflare failed to do so, but I'm glad you're safe. Next time do inform me or any other warrior if the warrior assigned to join you doesn't show up." The deputy acknowledged Flamepaw with a stiff tone, trying to keep his emotions in check. He let out a deep breath to get himself to relax a little more and continued with less forced calmness. "Patrols are supposed to teach you how to be a good warrior. If your patrol leader fails to do so, it impacts you unfairly. I'm sure you'll be a good warrior in spite of Russetflare's failings, your dedication to making up for this wrong is a good quality. You're dismissed."

Alright, that's enough of being honest and nice. It's time to put his foot down and really drive it home that patrols are important. Now he just needs to find a way to do that while either having Sparrowstar's blessing or help.

"Haha, yes... It's really happening," she purred and revealed her large belly to her mate. "We'll both be parents... and I know you'll be a wonderful father."

Mapleleaf was happy to be mothering her mates' kits, but she didn't like the thought of sticking in the nursery for a while. He'll be a good father. As long as my kits will be happy, I'll be happy... the calico tabby sighed softly and licked her paws to get rid of the gunk that had collected on her claws.

"If you need me, I'll be in the nursery," she purred and stalked off toward her new sleeping space. She'd be sharing it with a few other queens, so she'd hopefully be warm enough during the cold nights of leaf-bare.

Shiver'Blaze watched his clanmate eat a robin hungrily, which worried Shiver'Blaze. " Cloud'Spots? " He mewed, padding up to his friend. " You forgot to eat didn't you? " He said, giving Cloud'Spots a respectful lick on the shoulder.

Cloudspots gave his friend a sheepish look. “Yeah… I might’ve forgotten to eat anytime recently.” He glanced down at the robin, which he’d pretty much annihilated. There were a few morsels left, which the gray tom wanted to fix. Glancing back at Shiverblaze, he asked the tom if he’d like to join him.
