Locust followed their sibling into the territory, tail lashing with anxiety. They watched the golden light dapple their sister's fur and wondered if the same was happening to their own. Hopefully so. It was very pretty. Sighing softly, they were walking steadily before Nettle stopped. A startled squawk emitted from the creature as they veered to the side to avoid running smack into the rump of their littermate.
"Wha-" They stopped, brown fur bushed up a bit at the anxiety radiating off their sister. Resting their tail on her back, they grinned, using their large frame as a barrier between their sister and the world. "It's getting cold out... it'll be harder to find food. Can we try and talk to them?" His nervousness was forgotten, fading away into the brotherly protectiveness that came with this kind of situation, so they continued to be tough.
"Don't worry." They glanced around at the forest around, for any danger.
