One... Two... That made three each, six fake cobwebs in total. "le-let's he-ad back" Nightshiver nodded with a smile, slowly starting to head back to camp, looking back a moment to see if Brackenpaw was following. They couldn't really carry much more than they already had.

The she-cat bounced lightly on her feet behind her mentor with her tail happily in the air. She smiled and raised her head higher.

"Sparkpaw and... humility? Adder... you must not have... slept particular well... considering that was even... a thought that managed... to run through your head... I am shocked." Doetuft snickered, as she regarded her friend with a fond smile upon her face. Hanging out with Adderfang never held within itself a dull moment and she very much appreciated that. Unlike Frosty where it was easier to find a plant that had no scent than to get any information out of him at times. "I would like... to think that just... having Sparkpaw... around makes you loose... brain cells and sanity. I do not... think it is good... for you at all. Leave... it to Frosty to... lose all his sanity... because he at least... can afford that. You, my friend.... are out where you cannot swim... and you need to stop."

It was all honesty spoken from the blind molly. Out of all of the cats she knew, Adderfang was the one who needed a break the most, especially with this touching up on her lack of sleep. It was like Adderfang wanted Doetuft to be worried over her stubborn workaholic ass. That she didn't want to spend her time on but at this point it was like her friend needed someone to follow her everywhere just to make sure she didn't randomly stop off to work at fixing a den or taking an apprentice out of hunting or suddenly having flipped the entire clan on its back cause she wanted to practice her fighting skills.

"I know... you are insane... dearest. Hence I stated... that you should probably... avoid bursting MORE... bubbles because... eventually you're going to burst... one and then thats it... and I do need my daily... dose of 'im terrible cause im adderfang'... to keep life going properly." Although it did worry her a bit that Adderfang herself stated that she was tired, and insane and it caused her otherwise fond smile directed at the she-cat to turn into a small frown of insecurity and nervousness.

"What if... I just find Spark... and get her to... scream in your ears? I think... that would be a threat enough." But no that wasn't the reason the brown tabby wouldn't want Adderfang to fall asleep. "Do you not... know where we are... I cannot drag you were a... danger to come upon us... so for your safety... I would prefer if you stayed... awake and somewhat... coherent."

And then... the juicy stuff, or at least the topic that Doetuft found more or less the most amusing of them all... the romance. "Shame? It should... be shame on you... for not doing any better, sweetie." Doetuft let the reply dance off her tongue just as easily as the sweet wrapped insult had come off of Adderfang's. It was amusing, this game they played between them and the blind molly was surely enjoying it. "Nighttime... stalking though... are we talking about... a secret lover here... Adder... are we now?" She couldn't help but want to poke in it. It was too tempting and she would be a strong ass cat if she could resist the temptation but no... she could not.

"My interest... Adder... is to make sure you get someone... to watch your every step... and make sure you don't pass... out from exhaustion... and for someone to take care of you... see. I'm in this... all for your sake the least... you can do is help me out here." The grin was back and it was brighter than ever as the poking and teasing of the older molly continued. "And... I don't want you... to be all lonely."

The muted crunch of bones and scales echoed softly through the copse of skeletal trees. The wind was chilled and aggressive, and carried scents downwind in blustery torrents of wintry air. Hunting was a challenge this time of year. Challenging, but definitely not impossible. Fortune had spent the last two years of her life completely isolated and transient--wandering from place to place and attempting to make the best of whatever environment she landed in. She had been warned about the clan cats by other loners, but as far as she was concerned, they were just a bunch of pretentious wild cats with excessively complicated names. She chuffed softly in amusement as she crunched on the snake she had unearthed from beneath a rotting log. Reptiles hibernated this time of year, and were cold, sluggish, easy prey if one was willing to root around in decaying logs. It wasn't exactly fresh rabbit, but Fortune couldn't complain. Most lone felines faltered with the odds of leaf-bare pitted against them. She flicked a tattered ear, the wintry air tugging at her silver ticked pelt.

Fawnwhisper was on a solo hunting trip to take her mind off things. She had been following the scent of snake when a different scent caught her nose. There was rouge in the territory! Thankfully, she had amazing stealth. She creeped up, stopping near the rouge. It seemed she had killed the snake, which was good, because it hid her scent. She leaned down. She closed her eyes to clear her mind, and when she opened, she pounced, aiming to land on her back.

Oddly enough, the loner regained her composure, and assessed Fawnwhisper with perceptive pale green eyes—it was unclear whether or not she was admiring the warrior or sizing her up.
“Ah, you must be one of those Clan cats I’ve heard so much about,” she quipped, her voice cool and sultry, “Pleased to make your acquaintance.”
Fortune was a muscular, athletic cat—sleek and well fed. Her torn ears and the brutal dog bite scar over her shoulder indicated that she had seen her fair share of combat—though she had not yet bared her claws.

“Yes?” Fawnwhisper said. “You’re in ShadowClan territory, you can’t be here.” Fawnwhisper didn’t like fighting, and this cat seemed trustworthy enough to leave on her own. “If you leave territory, I’ll help you hunt something outside?” she offered. She was also sleek, and she had shiny fur. Her pelt was dark chocolate brown with orange spots, giving her the appearance of a fawn. “Please? If you say no, the warrior code gives me the right to chase you out.”

Fortune hesitated, flicking her tail in confusion. From what she had heard, the clan cats were aggressive and highly territorial--this cat didn't seem to fit that description. The rogue assessed the situation.
"Huh, seems a bit generous, don't you think? Won't your clanmates exile you or something for fraternizing with an unprincipled heathen such as myself?" she questioned, lightly mocking the code, "You don't seem like a clan cat. You seem pretty reasonable. What do they call you? Something like Majesticface or Roguekiller?"
