ShadowClan Apprentices' Den - Page 21

Shrewpaw somewhat dribbled into the apprentices den. He needed to clean himself up, and maybe rub his head in some snow later. He didn't need Ebonyfang, since Dawnstars main strategy had been to heave him cross clearing. It was effective, although there weren't any lasting wounds that would leave scars. As he lapped at the scratches on his hind leg, he noticed a familiar scent over the tang of blood. Grumpy cat. Hey Frogpaw! he hailed the younger cat, his head poking up over the edge of his nest. You won't have to deal with me anymore! He imagined, based on the hostility he was generally met with, that the small cat found him a chore. I just took my assessment, and Dawnstars making me a warrior at the next meeting! He was incredibly proud of himself. He was the first one in a while, and he could at LAST have a bit more influence on cats not dying. @feather lily

frogpaw wasnt suprised whats your warrior name shrewweak? shrewdung frogpaw said half joking. he was in a good mood today how did you of all cats win? if he can win and ive tied with him more than once its going to be easy! he thought

Well, I obviously don't know yet! Shrewpaw huffed, already regretting his decision to talk to the furball. I won because I'm SMART, I don't charge in RECKLESSLY and because I used my small size to my ADVANTAGE. He hadn't actually won, you didn't need to and a good thing it was, or else he wouldn't have passed. But it wouldn't hurt Frogpaw to think you had to win. Teensy weensy little payback that could do almost no harm. At least that was what he thought anyway. @feather lily

well if you can win i can win easy. though i doubt you actually beat her frogpaw said. he loved fighting with shrewpaw. it made all of the anger leave his body for a little

Shrewpaw wanted to release a scathing reply, something along the lines of the first time they fought he had gone easy on the new apprentice and the second time he had pinned Frogpaw but then let him go to continue the fight, but that would only make the kitbrain even more angry. Well, I certainly didn't die like most of the cats she fights, so I consider that a victory. he mewed tonelessly, his tail twitching as his head bent to lick another one of his scratches. His head hurt a bit, but it was definitely much better than it had been. @feather lily

Flashpaw nodded in agreement. "Yeah.." They just didn't know what else to say. This was the reason they had no friends, they couldn't keep a conversation going. If they could they would probably not get along with cats anyhow. If they were not so shy Flashpaw would voice so many things right in others faces. Yet, they could not bring them selves to.

Flashpaw paused a second before nodding. "Nice meeting you..." With that the creamy tabby stood up and moved away from Pumpkinpaw. That was awkward... They mused to themselves as the moved away. Flashpaw really was not a good cat for social interactions were they?

Mistheart padded into the apprentices den, man, it’s been ages since shes been in here. It felt like moons ago when she was last in there, but she was still a young cat, and it hadn’t really been thattt long. Well! It’s been long to her.
She was excited, but an unfortunate turn of events something something happened and now she’s ended up being a temporary mentor for webpaw! Mistheart was going to go get the apprentice, yup that’s exactly what she’s doing! Her first time training an apprentice— let’s hope this goes well. She’ll teach webpaw all she knows! Awww, darn, she got completely caught up in her thoughts, she forgot she was even in the apprentices den! Well halfway in at least. ”Ooooooh Webpaw! Your new temporary mentor has come to take you on a hunting training thingy!” she mewed happily.

A temporary mentor? She had so many questions. "What happened to Duskfern? Where is she?", she exclaimed, getting up to face her new mentor. Duskfern was one of the few people she trusted, and she definitely didn't want to lose her, especially before she had even completed her training. "Who even are you?"
