Horsetail looked at her, "I can't," he looked away from her. "I have an apprentice." he meowed.


He walked closer to her, "Meet me here soon, I"ll always love you" he whispered.

Silverspot nodded silently. "I love you. Always remember that. And although Riverclan won't accept me, I will always protect them." She whispered as she walked away from her home.

As Silverspot walked away, Horsetail stood there, his eyes swelling with tears, his mud stained pelt swaying in the wind, he cried for the first time since he was a kit. A tear slid down his cheek, then another, until he was sobbing, he collapsed to the ground his face buried in his paws.

Sometimes, sometimes the Dark Lord believed that some cats just needed to get smacked to get their head working right correctly. Violence could always be the answer if you tried it enough. Something would have to click but no, no. Wormbite let out a shaky sigh, waves of anger rolling off his shoulder. "Fine, " He seethed through clench teeth, "Get. Out, " Wormbite was hoping this interaction would end soon but as Starclan would have it Horsetail came rushing through the shadows.

The oriental was stunned as the emotional scene unfolded in front of him. He could only stare blankly, standing there awkwardly. He couldn't bring himself to interrupt, it was... awkward. It laid heavy on his mind because Silverspot was genuinely going to leave behind her what, mate and kit? For outsiders? Wormbite took a step back, alarm bells singing in his head because this rang all too familiar. He didn't have to say anything because Silverspot left after, and Horsetail quite literally broke down in front of them.

"Sparrowskip, " He whispered in a hushed tone, moving closer to the other Shield. "What... do we do...? Do we - do we comfort him? Is he not still in a relationship with her? Isn't that... not.. not allowed? Do.. we leave? Can we?" Wormbite mewed, his ears pulling back. This situation had simmered down from just pure awkwardness. He wanted to bap someone. It was very stupid.

"I- I'm not really sure." Sparrowskip whispered back. Never had he ever watched a public.. breakup? He wasn't even sure if they were breaking up or not. "I don't.. think so? Even as a medicine cat I couldn't comfort people for my life. I don't think its allowed but.. we should probably tell him later when he isn't.. crying." Sparrowskip just slowly started backing up, goodness he didn't get paid enough prey for this.

Horsetail remained on a ball on the ground, he was sobbing, it felt, in some odd way, good. "Silverspot..." he croaked. His golden pelt, covered in mud and tears.
