Chamomilekit miraculously found herself glued to the back end of the clowder of cats that had gathered before the Shadowledge. Plenty of kits came out to hear big leader Dawnstar's voice, so it was alright that she did too... she hoped, at least. The amount of cats that surrounded her didn't help the pit of anxiety that often settled itself in Chamomilekit's stomach, though. She was just considering holing herself back in the nursery and asking her Momma for a recap later, but...

...She heard her name? Being... called? Just before the kit moved to turn her head with a horrified look in her eyes, a tremendous weight found itself on her back, practically flattening her to the ground. She let out a startled cry. This was it! Some evil, evil cat had bounded out of the forest and decided they were next to die! Chamomilekit squeezed her now teary eyes shut, waiting for the final blow.

Wait, why was the scent of the nursery on this cat, too?

Chamomilekit, in the bravest move of her life thus far, willed herself to crack a yellow eye open. On top of her was... "D-D-Daisykiiiiiit! You s-s-scaaaare-d meee...!" The tortoiseshell kit was practically wailing at this point, oblivious to the crowd around her that was now, probably, staring.

Wolfwhisper padded up to the growing crowd and took a seat, his fluffy tail curling neatly over his paws. His eyelids drooping slightly with a sense of sleepiness.

Lilacpaw

She was scared, alright. It was terrifying enough to be faced with Dawnstar. But a whole Clan of cats like her? Lilacpaw shivered. She shook herself. Why, she ought to be grateful that now, she had a family.

The former loner slunk out of the shadows near the entrance of the camp, as cats gathered. Her fear increased. What if they didn't accept her into the Clan? Lilacpaw sat down, a bit far from the other cats, keeping her gaze firmly on Dawnstar, avoiding looking at the Clanborn cats.

Wolfblaze sat,muttering "a another useless meeting" he hissed to himself

Well, yay. Juniperfrost padded swiftly over Dawnstar with a grim expression (oh haha, i made a joke) plastered across her maw. Her green eyes searched for Addersnow. Adder and Grim were undoubtly her favorite cats in this clan.

A small yawn coursed through Palebreeze's body as he trotted lightly to find a spot in the clearing. Sadly, he had no cats who he'd really knew well enough interact with. Oh well.

**Elmshadow**

Elmshadow trotted into the clearing, just hearing the end of Dawnstar's call for a meeting. He stopped at the freshkill pile to drop his meager black bird there, then turned to look at the gathered cats. It seemed most of the clan was present already. His eye caught on Goldenstep sitting just outside the nursery. He took a deep breath and sighed, cracking a small half smile, then walked coolly over to her. He turned, pressing his flank up against hers, and sat down to look up at Dawnstar.

**Cougarivy**

Cougarivy caught Elmshadow slipping in through the camp entrance. She smiled and bounded after him. She heard Dawnstar's meeting opener as she slipped into camp. Her smile widened. Her eyes found Elmshadow again, dropping prey on the pile then...going to Goldenstep?! She huffed irritably and rolled her eyes as she walked over the clearing to find a spot amongst the rest of the gathered cats.

**Sunsetkit**

Sunsetkit pounced her way out the nursery entrance then shook out her pelt and trotted in mock calmness. It amazed her to watch all of Shadowclan gather below their leader. She saw Goldenstep and Elmshadow sitting beside the nursery. She started to turn to then but then she saw Chamomilekit but then Chamomilekit was being pulled off to sit with another kit. Sunsetkit felt inexplicably a little hurt. She could just go sit with her sister anyway but she didn't want to intrude if her sister was out making friends. She shrugged and turned to sit back with her parents, sidling up so her pelt was brushing the wisps of Goldenstep's long fur.

The small spotted she-kit trotted up to the Shadowledge at Dawnstars call, pale blue eyes staring up at the ruthless leader in subtle admiration. She hadnt really seen the huge cat in action before, since this was one of her few times out of the nursery, but she had heard from multiple different trusted queens that their leader was someone she should look up to. Her face was flat, with little emotion shown, but her wide eyes still glimmered nonetheless.

As the young she-kit scanned the crowd for an open spot, she spotted a rather disgruntled looking she-cat. She...wasnt sure if she remembered her name, but she thought that it was Cougar-something. Blinking in thought, she contemplated the pros and cons of sitting next to the other she-cat. Well, most obviously she would have some company. That much was goo. But...well... what if the older cat simply saw her as a nuisance? That would be frankly pretty embarrassing, to say the least. Frowning ever so slightly to herself, she decided to try her luck.

Padding over to the black-and-white she-cat, Haykit quietly took a seat by her side as she gazed up at Cougarivy. "Excuse me, miss" she started, her fluffy tail tapping on the dusty ground, "I dont think I know your name, could you please tell me?" she inquired, her head cocking to the side.
