Marigoldkit rolled her eyes( As best as a cat can do) at her brothers sly expression. He's so iritating she thought to herself slightly fondly. "Hmph, well the kit I met was blind intresting right?" She asked. Cats who had disability yet still lived and worked as hard as any other clan cat easily earned her respect, which in her opinion was an honor. Wait he said something else. Oh battle or rumors. "Battle knowledge," she said bluntly. She didn't understand why anyone would want rumors(which are probaly just a result of bored elders) instead of battle trainging which helps your clan! Though Shrikekit would probally just tell her the drama anyways. @Rani

Huh a blind kit... Maybe other cats would have opinions on it but to Shrikekit the kit went in the same category as most, he didnt care about them. Being blind would mean a variety or different pranks to pull on them but not much else, in a way he was very much a beliver in equality, in the manner cats usually didnt matter to him equally. Marigoldkit chose battle, a shame but not out of the ordinary for her. Oh well guess the parentage of Moutainmist kits and what he heard happened to Foxbite would have to wait, though he did want to talk about the kit maiming cannibal at some point.
"I overhear and saw some apprentices in the clearing and picked up some battle moves from them as well as tips for moving and fighting at night. Apparently Icestar and beastspark held a training session about it not too long ago. Wanna see if we can get a paw up on the other kits by practicing?" Shrikekit knew what the answer would be, and hey in the newborn worms tried to interrupt it wouldn't be their fault if the babies got kicked in the face for getting in the way.

"yawning already? sorry to keep you bored," the apprentice commented at the sight of her mentor, although she was happy to finally get another training session in. "my fur's stayin' right on. not sure about yours, though, i think some of it might be falling out due to that old age of yours," dreampaw murmured in response, although she felt.. a bit bad for it. basic defense?? that sounded.. acceptable enough. she could work with that. "do i.. attack you now?" she asked hesitantly. probably... but dreampaw felt like she should at least ask before trying to attack bravedawn.

Of course he "overheard" some apprentices ha! More like spied on them. Ooh Icestar held one a training session, cool. Now about battling. An edge wouldn't be to bad. She backed away from him before he could react. She crouched grinning wickedly. Her eyes narrowed on her prey. Alright...1...2..3..GO! "Like this?" She yowled leaping at her little brother. @Rani

Whats she doing? Why is Marigoldkit backing away? She's crouching, did she see something? Wait no, oh starclan no!
These were the thoughts running through Shrikekits head before he gave a yelp and tried to get away from the large golden puffball flying at him. He partially succeeded managing to get his body away from her but as he bolted his tail wasn't fast enough halting a total escape "Marigoldkit! Get. Off. My. Tail!" He spat indignantly trying to rapidly bat at her head. Gah she always won at these play battles, Shrikekits runty size meaning she could easily bowl him over if he want fast enough.

"Ha! Got you!" She playfully growled. She smirked as his tail got stuck but.. Ow! "Stop hitting my head!" She growled grumpily getting off his tail. The little....hmm whats a good word to describe him? She was about to ask...no demand him to tell her the battle moves when she remembered something. The canibal elder. Yuck it still made her gag. "Well show me the moves!" She demanded. "Oh and did you hear about the elder who tried to eat kits?" She asked. She gagged imagining it. @Rani

Free! Free! Shrikekit darted a safe distance away and curled his tail under his body. His poor fluffy tail... But he perked up when she mentioned the cat he wanted to talk about "Yeah that one of the rumours I wanted to tell you about! Foxbite! Or Foxpudge because apparently he was once a windclan cat! The kits he tried to eat are all ok but in the medicine cat den so we can ask them what he tried to do and stuff when they're out. But anyway you think Icestar would say no more windclan because obviously they're crazy but..." He got closer to whisper in her ear this next bit not keen to be overheard "Theres an apprentice Cowpaw who was windclan and friends with the crazy guy who's still in the clan and the new queen Moutainmist? She's windclan too! You think they all eat cats? They must it's not like there can be much prey on the moor." Shrikekit was maybe too interested in the subject but this could be played off by the curiosity of a kit, besides Shrikekit is known for having an interest in the weird bloody things of the world. Still he really wished the kits would tell him what happened first hand, it had to be a terrifying thing to nearly get eaten by a cannibal.

Oh I knew I shouldn't have mentioned it now I won't be able to learn the moves. Marigoldkit groaned. Other Windclanners in Shadowclan!? Well former windclanners now I guess, she mused to herself. Windclan is bad news! But...a queen wouldn't eat her own kits...would she? "I doubt the queen would and the other one...is at least easily defeatable..." She thought outloud. She thought about when she heard that a windclan cat did that to the kits. Shadowclan kits! That cat is...terrible! If I ever met them! @Rani

Giving a tiny skip of joy that they were starting, Foggypaw still wondered why the kit had asked if she would leave them if they fell. “Alrighty, do you know the hunter’s crouch yet or are you new to everything?” Foggypaw asked to get a good sense of how she would train the kit.

"I know how to jump onto a cat's back and hold on" she told Foggypaw, remembering her training with Blackpaw.
