Batkit tilted his head, shifting to go until he saw Rainshine walking over. And then talking to Streamflake! That was interesting. Batkit sat back a bit to be a bit more inconspicuous, hoping to stick around to listen to the conversation about...the weather? That was...boring, to say the least. But the mention of a kite quickly pulled Batkit's interest and they looked up in hopes of seeing it. There was nothing there but the sky. "I don't see a bird," he squeaked, shutting his mouth sharply after realizing he had said that out loud. Oops. They looked back down at Streamflake and Rainshine. Perhaps he should go play now.
[QUOTE=Zath;1354901][COLOR="LightBlue"][FONT="Century Gothic"]Rainshine gave a wide smile in return, though it looked slightly strained due to how nervous she was.
"I uh, I'm good! It's nice weather we're having, ain't it?" Rainshine sat near Streamflake, wrapping her tail around her paws in an attempt to make herself smaller. It didn't exactly work, and Rainshine prayed that her tail didn't accidentally invade Streamflake's space.
"You look nice, I mean uh- look, a kite!" Rainshine looked up to the sky in an attempt to fix her error, praying that a kite bird would fly over the camp at any moment and save her.
"Are you calling me fox-hearted?" She asked, pinning her ears back in frustation. "You realize those types of birds kill our cats!" She hissed. Looking away in anger
(She took it that your calling her a kite)

"What? No! Ahh, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend you! There's no kite, I swear!" Rainshine looked at the two cats. Batkit was sweet, and she tried to smile at him in an attempt to soothe over the situation. Silently, she flicked her tail. Giving him the option to chase it. Due to her thick fur, kitten teeth couldn't hurt very much when they bit. At most he would get a mouth full of fluff.
Rainshine pinned her ears back in shame. "I'm truly sorry, Streamflake. You're not fox-hearted, not at all! I think you're really great!" Stupid, stupid, stupid! Oh my stars, 'I think you're really great'?! What are you THINKING, Rainshine?!
She prayed that the she-cat accepted her apology. She truly did mean it.

The she-cat sighed, her eyes holding a semi-annoyed look. "Yes, I forgive you. And I think your great too..?" She responded, looking away awkwardly

Batkit found all of this very amusing. Sure, it'd been scary when Streamflake had gotten angry. It was always scary when a cat got angry. It made Batkit scared. They leaped forward for Rainshine's twitching tail, but missed and gave up easily as their attention was diverted elsewhere. He wandered away and off to the side, following some pawprints in the snow eagerly. Besides, the warrior's conversation was getting...awkward. The kit doubted they were supposed to stick around any longer for it. Batkit bounded about in the clearing in the usual careless kit fashion, spending some of their pent-up energy.
@Zath @Pluto! // just mention me if you want batkit to come back (( open ))
Inside the apprentices den the small she-cat named Acornpaw stayed in her nest. Why was it so hard to even leave the den? She was a clan cat for crying out loud, yet she wasn't a big fan of too many cats in one place. Everyone was different sizes and shapes. It was all too much for her. Forcing herself to get up
Acornpaw moved over to the entrance, peering her head out. There didn't seem to be that many cats out. Most of them must be out hunting or something. She walked out of the apprentices den before finding her way over to a spot in the camp clearing. That's when she sat down and began to groom through her fur. She made every hair was in nice order before sitting in a loaf position.
Poking his head out the warriors’ den, Cricketsting spied on the clouds passing by in the sky. The interaction with Cloudpaw brought his energy back up to a 100! His creamy tail swayed with the unheard beat to the rhythm of his brain mewing thoughts.
Drifting his eyes down, he spotted an apprentice at the app den. Acornpaw. The young molly moved out of the den and found a spot for herself. In a way, she reminded Cricketsting of Cloud. StarClan, it had been awhile, thinking about his friends. He noted that the olds come and go, and that he should secure new ones. If he created a friendship between him and Cloudpaw by just making puns, then would it go for the same with Acornpaw?
Trotting over to the young apprentice, Cricketsting gave a light hello. “How’s training? Is it driving you nuts?” A smirk formed on his maw, then chuckled at his joke.
Char Site updated (10/11/22), added Blazingpaw and Goldenkit!
During most or few roleplays, I will do a flashback that was conjured in my characters' thoughts. Please do not respond to the flashback unless you have the power to read minds or smth.

"I'm sorry, I've made our conversation weird, and now I've probably ruined your day. So, I'm going to start over. I hope the kits aren't causing you any trouble? If you ever need help with them, I'd be glad to watch them for a bit so you can catch a break," Rainshine mewed.

"Im fine thank you, I am a queen after all, its my job." She insisted, giving her a narrow look. "If your trying to say something just spit it out hon'."
As usual, Mintpaw was prompt in her arrival. Out of all the times he’d called her out, this was the one where he appreciated her promptness the most. He wanted this over with.
He beckoned her over to a secluded spot in the camp, where it was unlikely anyone would hear them. With a pang, he remembered how he’d chatted with Littlestream over here, ages ago now. He hadn’t seen her in a while; she must’ve gone missing. Another good warrior, probably lost to Twolegs.
Refocusing on the matter at hand, he took a deep breath. “Marigoldleap and I… one night, we spent some time together. And, well, she’s expecting my kits. We’re not mates; we’re going to raise the kits together, sort of, but we’re not mates.” He almost wanted to hold his breath in anticipation for her response. Would she be mad? Disappointed? Confused?
Fadingstar is currently RiverClan's leader. He has an open den policy; his den can be found here. If you have any questions or concerns about RiverClan, or any plots to propose, feel free to leave me a VM or DM! Please do not take my characters' IC opinions as reflective of my own.
