Lizardpaw flipped back up, she king her head. She backed up a little, then charged at Duckbounce quickly.

Ruepaw felt herself nervously twiddling with her paws under the peering eyes of her mentor - since she had never known her parents, it felt rather good to have an older cat so concerned with her well being. She straightened up quickly at the praise, bouncing on her paws a bit. "Really?" She piped, doing a little dance on her paws. She practically beamed up at Redcloud, hopeful excitement for the future written all across her face.

"Really." Redcloud confirmed and the excitement that radiated off Ruepaw made Redcloud flash a tiny smile. "Training you, I know, will be amusing and rewarding, Ruepaw." Redcloud's tail come up to rest on Ruepaw's shoulder for a moment in approval before the mentor let it drop to walk to the side of Ruepaw.

"What do you know of the Warrior Code, Ruepaw." Redcloud asked before sitting down in the gross, tail settling over her paws. "More importantly, what do you think of it?" Her brown eyes peered at Ruepaw and a certain intensity lied underneath.

Since Duckbounce was caught off guard, the apprentice easily rammed into her. The molly was not knocked off her feet but she stumbled back a bit, trying to catch her balance.

Lizardpaw used her signature move. She got a head start, lifted her back legs and spun on her front paws sending her back legs into a furious circular kick.

Duckbounce screamed as she was pummeled by the strength of Lizardpaw's legs. She fell on the floor and rolled around on the grass, but quickly got up. "Excelent job!" The molly said as she meowed in celebration for her apprentice.

Lizardpaw was panting loudly.
"Thanks. I really enjoyed this battle. Thank you for being a worthy opponent." she mewed. This whole battle had tired her out.

Duckbounce let out a small giggle and nodded her head. "Anytime!" The molly said as she smiled. "Next time, we'll work on hunting." The warrior nodded and started to lead her and her apprentice back to camp.

Ruepaw felt warmth spread from her heart outward, absolutely delighted at the bond her and her mentor already shared. At the mention of the warrior code, Ruepaw straightened up. "Loyalty to your Clan!" She proudly stated. They were not the exact words, of course, she hadn't quite memorized it... "I love RiverClan more than anything in the whole world! I'm so proud to be in RiverClan!" Her voice came out quickly, and she stumbled over her words slightly as the excitement overtook her, "I think we're the bestest, strongest, most amazing Clan ever! And Lionstar is the most amazingest, coolest, awesomest leader! I want to be one of the bestest warriors RiverClan has ever seen! I would gladly go to StarClan if it's what RiverClan needed!"
