Fogmask looked up at the voice's owner. "Oh, hello! I'm Fogmask." He sat up and faced them, then after a moment of awkward silence, he looked out of the den and purred. "I'm glad that newleaf is here, there's plenty of fresh-kill, sickness is few and far between, and the air is warm."

"Nice to meet you, Fogmask." Spottedclaw sits with the tom, smiling and nodding at his comment. "I agree. Hey, would you like to go on a walk with me?"

"Sure!" Fogmask wanted something to do, and a walk seemed nice. So, he left the warriors' den with a stretch and padded over to the clearing's entrance.
