He stood up and limped beside Lara. Apparently that landing had messed him up more than he thought. He nudged her with his nose so she'd get back in their makeshift den. C'mon, that idiot is gone now. he muttered.

Twinkie sat down, tired and hungry. She couldn't go much longer. She had been hiding ever since she was a kit, and it was time for the weak she-cat to accept she needed help. Practically dragging her frail body across the grass. "I-is anyone around?" the young she-cat asked.

A dark figure seemed to glide across the cool grass. It was as if the figure was a shadow belonging to another who... wasn't there. And it stopped as soon as he heard the she-cat's meow. Large ears suddenly popped up, twitching this way and that as if to locate the speaker until the stranger took quick sniff and turned to face the other cat.

"I am!" the tom meowed excitedly, his voice pitched higher than most other toms around. He didn't seem like a kit either. Though the black cat acted like it as he bounded towards what he hoped was a new friend.

"I'm Void! Nice ta'meet'cha!!!" the dark cat grinned, his eyeless gaze completely missing the she-cat. "What's your name?"
