Stagkit was looking for beetles... and for Cornkit. Despite the kit's often lack of acting mature, he just couldn't handle being alone... He might be many things but afraid of being alone was not something he would be able to overcome in the near future. But nevertheless the kit spotted someone and off he went, in his slightly limping gait as he tried to keep his balance as well on three legs. His bad paw had never been able to carry his full weight so now he just used it a teeny bit while his other three legs were stronger. Walking over, he first spotted a beetle by a fern and hopped over before shoving it in his mouth, crunching down on it. He then picked up another beetle, a stick beetle this time, because they were a good gift, tasty and easy to eat. And so he continued his way over to the other cat, plopping down next to them. "Hi. I'm Stagkit," he proclaimed happily. "This is a stick beetle! And its tasty. Will you want to taste it? It crunches really nicely. And Twiglight eats beetles too." Well, she didn't... but Stag was still trying to get that to happen! And if he could get this other kit on his side... he could maybe finally succeed.

Wrenwing padded into the leaders den, not sure if what he had to say was worth sharing, but he decided to let Twilightstar know, just in case. "Twilightstar" he mewed, politely dipping his head to the leader, "I don't know if this really matters, but when I was hunting today, I found a thunderclan kit who had wondered into our territory. When I asked her why she trespassed, she refused to answer me. I didn't harm her, I just wanted to let you know what had happened" he explained, taking a seat in front of her.

"we can run in the camp, just avoid passersbys..." it couldn't be too much of a ruckus right ? Better than fighting . " we can work on our speed and ability to dodge any objects as we run! That sounds useful right?"

Cuffing Creekpaw over the ears, Mountainmist's chest let out another rumble again. "Of course I'm joking, mousebrain. Not going to let these babies go to anyone, and maybe... you might bond with one of 'em. Who knows... we shall see won't we little one." With that she shook out her fur again and laughed at his comment. "Me fluff? We both know all of it is fur and not the fact that I've been eating. Although I shall soon be even bigger... Who knows, my fur might finally start falling off, so I can actually breathe when the sun is out." She laughed at that again and then continued to groom the fur off his neck with careful strokes of her tongue nuzzling into him slightly. She had truly began seeing her little Creekpaw as more of a kin, rather than just someone she taught.

He didn't care he was saying the name wrong, at this point it'd become more of a joke between the kit and the leader. He was Parasite, she was Twiglight. And then he felt Cornkit's unease and the kit pressed himself up again the older kit. "Is Cornkit okay?" he questioned carefully. He wanted Cornkit to feel okay. Stag himself did not like being abandoned but now Stag had Corn so Stag would never be abandoned ever. Yes. Stag had a friend in Corn. But now his attention was once again drawn away and he focused his eyes on the bugs that Cornkit was pointing out. "Corn knows so many bugs and beetles! Corn is king of beetles!" he proclaimed once again before reaching out for the stick bug... Would stick bug be tasty? He would have to see, but before he could pick it up Cornkit poked him and Stag let out a happy squeal. Could he poke others now? He poked Cornkit back with a smile before taking the stick bug and stuffing it in his mouth and chewing it up. "Stick bug was tasty!"

"Well if your fur was sparkly clean before! then maybe sit down and clean it again!" Mountainmist snapped with amusement. And then she quieted to listen to her apprentice's engaging tale about a little kit he wanted to mentor and she let out a rumbling soft purr. "You know.. you gotta be a warrior for that to happen little one," she was being a bit reprimanding but couldn't let the smile on her face escape. "I know you'll do a good job it that becomes an possibility at some point. I would wish it for you. Just got to wait and see." Flopping back to her side she patted her own belly, "These will surely get good mentors too. They just need to drain me of all fat and food before they're born," and she let out a soft laugh at that... Her apprentice was truly more of an adopted son to her lately and she quite enjoyed these... relaxing talks with him. It brought comfort to her, despite the unnerving feelings she sometime felt... because with Cloudberry's reappearance in her life... Mountainmist herself stood at a cliff. Yet she wouldn't dare share that with Creekpaw. That was too deep and the older molly wanted to protect the apprentice for as long as she could.

Cornkit paw palmed his face as Stagkit shoved the stick bug into his mouth. There was really know teaching this kid was there? Yet, a warmth flooded his heart. It was sweet somehow? Endearing? What was the word? Cornkit shook his head he didn't know. He just really liked the feeling that being around Stagkit gave him. The gray tom looked up to the second beetle that Stagkit had placed on his head. He took it in his paw and studied it. It was shiny and black, but those were really it's only two qualities. A simple little beetle. For his... simple minded friend. Cornkit smiled, yes. His best friend.

Heathernose trotted into the training moor, looking around for Quiverpaw and easily catching sight of her in the open space.

“Hey, Quiverpaw! Alright, we are going to work on battle tactics today. Let’s start with something simple. I’m going to try to hi you and you have to try to block me, got it?”

Without waiting very long for an answer, Heathernose shot out her paw and sent it toward Quiverpaw.

Quiverpaw perked to attention as Heathernose approached. "Ah, o-okay!" She managed to sputter right before her mentor's paw came at her.

Not prepared, Quiverpaw ducked to avoid the paw, seemingly forgetting part of the instructions. She blanched afterward, realizing she was supposed to block it, not dodge it.

"I'm sorry, that was a habit! Let me try again?" She quickly mewed, her amber eyes widening with worry that she'd already messed the whole thing up.
