Heathernose’s confuses look melted into a smile and she gave a nod.

“Of course!”

It seemed to her that Wolfwhisper needed some more compliments if she was this surprised at having received one. Luckily, Heathernose was a compliment aficionado.

Not prepared, Quiverpaw ducked to avoid the paw, seemingly forgetting part of the instructions. She blanched afterward, realizing she was supposed to block it, not dodge it.

"I'm sorry, that was a habit! Let me try again?" She quickly mewed, her amber eyes widening with worry that she'd already messed the whole thing up.

Heathernose sat back and offered a calming smile.

“That’s alright, Quiverpaw- don’t worry about it! Dodging works just as well as blocking in most circumstances. From now on, feel free to use any maneuver you would like to block or dodge and I’ll let you know if it works or any stipulations or what went wrong if it doesn’t work. Sound good?”

Heathernose had never had an apprentice before and she suddenly became concerned she was being too friendly- if that was even a thing. She loved being kind and friendly and didn’t really know a way other than that, but she was also accustomed to tough, authoritative mentors. Then again- she’d managed to sound authoritative when helping with the tournaments! Besides, she didn’t want to spook Quiverpaw. She would just have to keep going with what she believed was right.

Gullkit stepped forward, she was sad that Fizzlekit couldn’t be with her, but she trusted he would be watching over her as she came forward to be an apprentice, alone. Poor Coldamber, becoming a warrior again.

Stagkit was on a mission! The kit that was near apprentice age wanted to get more kits into his beetle eating club and seeing that Cornkit was nowhere to be found the ginger and white kit felt somewhat discouraged. His best friend, his bestie... his only friend, had been so traumatized from meeting Twiglight that Stag wanted to slap Twiglight for making Corn sad... Yet that would be on the agenda next... Gullkit was bored in the clearly, still grieving her brother, but trying to be excited and hyper, but she didn’t want to bring down anyone else. Normally she would have teased Stagkit for his personality and weakness, but right now she didn’t feel like teasing him,” Hey Stagkit” she meowed rather unenthusiastically

Gullkit shook her head,” It’s fine...” shesighed not wanting to complain about it. He wasn’t as good of a mate as she wanted.

starling kit yawned and stretched her tiny tail pointing up and then down again. her dark blue eyes glanced around . she sat up and watched the other kits play.

Are you sure? Seakit insisted. Tilting his head he made a questioning face then ran out and got a baby rabbit that was less chewy and dropped it in front of her. @Zesty Mango

Gullkit took a bite of the better rabbit,” Tastes better, but small.“ she commented. He wasn’t as great of a mate as he had seemed that he couldn’t find a big juicy rabbit.
