ShadowClan Clearing

Shadepaw sat in the clearing looking around at his clan mates, everone seemed busy preparing for the dog hunt but shadepaw wasn't concerned about that at the moment he was more focused on the fact that boredom was lingering in the air and it was so thick that he could choke off of it and die. As he looked around he saw another apprentice sitting not too far from him "they seem like good company" said Shadepaw to himself, in all honesty it would be rude if he didn't introduce himself to his fellow clan mate so without a second thought he padded over to the young cat and said with a cheerful voice "Hiya, how are you doing today".

Tigerpaw looked up to see one of the other apprentices. "Hi. I'm Tigerpaw. You're Shadepaw, right?" Tigerpaw shifted so she was looking directly at him.

Wow! Shadepaw was surprised that the she cat knew his name, normally he would have to introduce himself every time he walked up to a cat but this one knew who he was right off the bat. "Yup I sure am" mewed the pitch black tom pride in his voice "but how did you know who I was" Shadepaw was a little confused he wasn't very popular among the clan and he talked to very few individuals.

"I remember your apprentice ceremony," Tigerpaw explained. She remembered every apprentice and warrior ceremony, so she would no what to say when she became a warrior and had an apprentice. "So, I guess your not doing the dog hunt?"

"No I am" mewed the young apprentice "just trying to rest my body before I go into battle you know, don't want to get killed out there by a dog because my body wasn't well rested" Shadepaw then took a deep breath at the thought then asked "what about you, are you going dog hunting".

Tigerpaw thought for a moment before saying, " I don't think I am." She didn't offer any other explanation. "Do think you'll chase them off?" She asked instead.

Shadepaw thought for a moment then gave a toothy grin as he spoke "I think we'll do more than chase them out, by the time we're done with them they'll be too scared and too bloodied up to want/be able to hunt in our territory again" even though it may have seemed like Shadepaw was just talking smack (and he was) he was also taking everything into account most of the cats that were joining the hunt were using the event as a way to blow off steam (the cause being Dawnstar) and some of them were angry enough to even kill something. Shadepaw then looked to the she cat that sat in front of him and said "you know if Dawnstar finds out your staying here it won't be to good for you are you sure you're going to sit out of this battle" there was worry in his eyes for the young she cat.

"I understand your concern, but I'm honestly not sure if we should be bringing so many cats. We're only driving them out, not killing them!" Tigerpaw glanced at Shadepaw, wondering how he would take her point of view.

oh, oh, oh. buzzardkit was so bored! bored beyond belief! that's why she decided to do something that was very common for her....annoy people! but not just anyone, she was going to annoy her lovely sister, maplekit.

she just had to find where she was.

she didn't see her around the clearing, or maybe she hadn't looked around good enough? (she certainly hadn't, she just skimmed over and decided maplekit probably wasn't in the clearing.) hmm. well darn! guess she'd have to do it the old fashioned way.

"MAPLEKITTTTTTT!!" the calico yowled loudly, sighing heavily after. that should do it! maplekit would show up in no time now, hehe.

With a huff of air maplekit whacked buzzardkit on the back of the head with ehr tail "what do you want buzzardkit?" she sat down her fur extremely fluffed up as she had just gotten up from resting her eyes. She glanced over buzzardkit and already had a suspicion to her intentions.
