"I get that. They're tough. It's not nice seeing others hurt, especially if you're close with them." Stormclaw sighed softly and dug softly at the ground. "I'm scared too, but as a warrior you need to fight your fears. It's a tough battle, but I believe you can do it."

She got up to stand and climbed up the fern tree. The base had hardly any branches and soon she got onto the top of it (1.2 meters tall). It was a good thing that she was small enough to fit.
Alpinekit sat down on it and began to whimper, hoping that Stormclaw wouldn't hear her. She thought, "What if I don't want to become a warrior?.... He said that he believes that I can face my fears. But, it is so hard to do so."

Grovekit burst into laughter at the warrior's antics. Ever the prideful competitor, she protested, "That's cheating though! I still have all my training to do before I'm even a warrior!" Plus, I'm just w-a-a-a-y cooler." She struck her own pose, her head and tail high and her face contorted in a haughty expression.

Stormclaw looked up at her and circled the tree slowly, thinking to himself that he should probably leave. That he had done all that he could. "Do you want my company still?" He asked, his voice slightly raised so she could hear.

"Oh, you're cooler are you?" Stormclaw huffed with a cheeky expression. "Prove it." He challenged as he stopped posing. He felt a bit slighted at the kits statement and was eager to prove her wrong.

Alpinekit said loudly to Stormclaw as she looked around for Mousepaw, "Yes please!" The view from up there was somewhat obscured by the leaves.
