Shardkit stopped and pawed Perchkit in the face, letting out a small mew.

Rainkit squeaked in indignation and rolled away from his siblings, content in just trying to nap.

Shardkit felt the warmth on her side vanish as her brother rolled away. She squeaked and rolled down the small slope, crashing into him.

Stormpaw sighed with relief as he stepped into Riverclan territory. He and Vixenpaw had nearly drowned getting out of camp. With one last look at the ruined Shadowclan territory, he pushed his way through the reeds to the camp of Riverclan. "I can't hardly think that we are pushed out of our own home Vixenpaw. And having to shelter in Riverclan?! Just a few days ago there was rumors flying about a battle with them and now we are having to share dens with these fish eaters? I can't even begin to think about!" he meowed to his friend, shaking his paw to dislodge the mud from between his toes. Ug! The mud, the stench, the wet! How do Riverclan cats live in this! I can't even hear my own voice over the sound of their 'Precious River!' It stinks! He thought bitterly. The mud squished between his toes, and his tail was wet, his fur was wet, his ears had water in them and he just wanted to be home in the apprentice den at shadowclan in his warm and dry nest with Vixenpaw!

Honeypaw sat by the water and saw a fish pass by she hooked her paw into the water and hooked the fish out and nipped it so it stopped flailing. She sighed fishing is so boring. I wish there was someone to talk too...

Herringpaw trotted on the territory, he needed to empty his mind a little, all those Shadowclanners barging in like that was quite frustrating, he hated the pine scent coming off of those pests, ears perking as the gray tabby heard something, he quickly followed the sound and found Honeypaw. "Hey, Honeypaw!" He called and ran over to hs clanmate, green hues aimed straight at the other apprentice. "What are you doing out here?" He asked almost worriedly. "With all those Shadowclanners around, you could get attacked, it's not safe to go alone..." He mewed though he wasn't really better, because he was alone as well, taking a seat beside her, he sighed. "Fishing..?" He asked, giving her a slight smile.

Honeypaw nodded," Yeah...I'm fishing. I doubt those Shadowclanners will attack us anyways. They're still freaked and barely leaving camp, besides I have a sister in Shadowclan, Applepaw, you probably remember her from when we were kits." She meowed.

Vixenpaw let out a sigh of thankfulness they were both alive and in RiverClan. They'd nearly drowned, for StarClan's sake! She turned to look at the destroyed ShadowClan, a tiny lump forming in her throat that she quickly swallowed. "Yeah, me neither. It seemed to come out of nowhere." She agreed, turning her gaze away from the camp and catching up with Stormpaw. "Well to be fair, ThunderClan and WindClan are at war and SkyClan is way far away." Vixenpaw mewed, shrugging. "But still! I hope StarClan isn't mad at us or something." She added, her stubbornness shining through her nerves. Mud squished beneath her paws, and it felt odd, the place stank of water and mud, but the sounds of the river were sort of soothing. Well, not really, but it wasn't too loud to her. She shook some mud from her drenched paw, giving a little hiss. She was drenched and dirty, all she wanted was to be dry and clean again in her own Camp. But that wouldn't happen for a while. The camp part! Not the dry and clean part, she'd be working on that soon.

The tiny tom mewed in complaint as Bramble lifted him off the ground, settling down when he found himself nestled beside Hollydawn's warm belly and began to nurse.

Perchkit continued to nurse as his mother groomed him, safe and warm here with his family. He stretched his jaws in a wide yawn, and curled up beside her, a tiny ball of fluff.
