Shadepaw looked to the she cat and said "and how do you plan on doing that, many have gone up against her and they were warriors your just an apprentice and it's not like you have some type of authority that would make another cat want to join your rebellion either." Shadepaw was serious he wouldn't allow such a beautiful she cat who didn't even earn her warrior name yet get killed by the deadliest creature in the forest.

Stormykit waddled into the clearing, pouting. She was mad. She'd hidden away her favorite rock in the corner of the nursery - it was noticeable! white with little swirlies and really big and slanted at the side - and now it was gone!! She couldn't find it anywhere! Someone must've stolen it - and Stormy would find out who if it was the last thing she did. She'd start with interrogating people around, people who might've seen something. Likee... that cat over there! "You!" she bounced over to Venompaw. "Have you seen a rock? Bout this wide, yay high?" she moved around her paw to show the height and length. "White? Swirly?"

Venompaw was baffled but... quickly recognized this as another half-sibling. Dang, his father really got around didn't he. He sighs and looked around, "Nope, haven't seen it, kid." he didn't exactly know how to tell the small kitten they were siblings so for now he just let it be.

As a young kit tottered out of the nursery, a large yawn parted his jaws. The huge tom lifted a paw to rub at his bleary eyes, both his mind and body still waking up from his nap. It was...what, his second time out of the nursery? Third, maybe? He wasnt quite keeping track. Thankfully the shadowed clearing was as bright as it had been previously, the source of the darkness being a large cloud partly covering the sun and its rays.

He wasnt quite old enough to eat prey on his own, so Hornetkit assumed that wasnt an option. If not eat, what was there to do? A small frown grew on his maw as he pondered his options. The black-and-white kits eyes scrunched together as he sat just outside the nursery entrance, cleary in deep thought.

Unknown to him was the older kit staring down at the clearing like a hawk, leaving him blissfully unaware as he sat there stuck in his own thoughts.

Bouncepaw

Bouncepaw had been lounging around camp, work had him scrambling at all hours, and he just now had gotten a chance to sit and relax for a moment. With weary eyes, he rolled his shoulders with a yawn. His paws kneaded idly into the marsh, claws just barely showing...

He tilted his head, watching as the cat approached him, he remembered her. fondly, too, which was rare considering his interpersonal relationships mainly consisted of cats who thought he was dumb and weak.

Not that he wasn't, but it hurt his feelings anyways.

"C-crowk...paw... It's n-nice to see you!" he chirped, curling his tail around his paws and closing his eyes in greeting, "H-have you been enjoying your time a-as an apprentice? You l-look like you're having fun for sure..."

buzzardkit snapped out of her little 'talk to herself' thing once she saw a complete goliath of a kit. woah, he was huge! maybe (probably) even bigger than the calico herself. (jeez, what were they feeding younger kits these days?) she was pretty sure his name was wasp..uh, actually no. beekit?

she lit up suddenly-- "hornetkit!" she blurted out loudly. yes! that was his name! go buzzardkit! staring down at the kit from the rock, she hummed to herself.

she wanted to be strong..strong meant intimidation most of the time...and large cats were intimidating. she suddenly had a very smart idea. "hornetkittttttt! come 'ere." she beckoned, her tail flicking as an attempt to usher the younger kit towards her.

hmm, yeah, but she was kind of popular in the clan. she figured it'd be safest to be subtle..dont make her intentions clear. "I dunno if you can speak, but I got some stuff to tell ya!"

He felt a brief stab of satisfaction as she jerked his tail away from his nose. Maybe he'd bite it anyway. That'd show her.

He puffed up as she circled back to Dawnstar, and a slow grin spread over his face. "Did you know that Dawnstar was the one of the ones to save me and the others?" he asked slyly, unveiled notes of triumph layered into his voice. "She actually dealt the ending blow to Foxbite, the one that sent him running off to die. I think if she wanted to give me something else to worry about, she'd have done it already."

He raised his eyebrows at her proposal, and then took a challenging step forward in her direction. "Oh, you are so on, Gingerkit. Let's raise the stakes - the loser has to spend the night in the Mourning Ruins. Did you know that a lot of cats died there? I wonder if there's any ghosts. Maybe you'll see one."

What? ... WHAT? Her brain felt like it was short circuiting. Dawnstar saved him? She shifted awkwardly, scrambling for something to say. After a beat too long, she finally meowed "Whatever birdbrain, I'm sure she only saved you to keep around as a chewtoy later."

Backing up as he took a step closer (NOT because she was starting to feel intimidated but because... um... well who would want to be near him?) She shrunk in at herself at the mention of the Mourning Ruins. Is he crazy? I don't want to set one paw in that place!

"F-fine! You're on! Luckily I will never have to see any ghosts because I'm not losing. She growled. With that she scurried off, not wanting to talk to this little brat any longer.
