She flinched before glancing over at her clan-mate and smiling warmly, her ears lowering slightly.
''Oh yes of course, sorry if I worried you''
She choked out, wondering how long the cat had been standing here. ''How are you doing this evening?
That meeting was sure eventful huh?'' She added, trying to initiate some sort of small talk. It was nice having friends around, someone to talk to.
She usually stood quietly in the back, observing the others but that didn't mean she didn't like having friends. The tip of
her tail twitched contently as she waited for a response from her clan-mate.

Riversong tilted their head and smiled softly. Oh, what a wonderful day to meet another cat who is finally like me, they thought. They could tell from Drizzleheart's posture that she was a shy cat as well. "Yes... the meeting" they mumbled. "If I'm being honest, I don't know if I'm going to go to the raid." they said rapidly. Then, hoping that Drizzleheart wouldn't be one of those fight-the-world-for-ThunderClan types, Riversong quickly tried to laugh it off. "I have to make sure our camp has cats in it you know? Someone's got to stay behind so the kits don't sneak out." Riversong glanced at Drizzleheart, trying to see if they were going to get a lecture on how they should attend the raid to protect the dignity of their clan.

''That's fair, I'm going to try to help where I am needed. I worry though what our ancestors think of this.. not that I wouldn't fight for the clan, I'm just curious'' she choked out, before glancing away, her tail flicking. ''But that is a noble enough role as any other, we don't know if any RiverClan cats might try to sneak into camp and try to steal our kits'' She mewed, her ears tilting back a bit at the thought. ''Not only are they one of us, but they are the future of our clan after all'' She added with a warm smile. ''Who knows, one of those kits could be our next leader'' she purred in amusement, her tail flicking back and forth.

Riversong laughed, a sound oddly similar to a burbling brook (if one listened hard enough). They'd never met a cat who'd thought of it as that way before. Have I just made a new friend? they wondered. Purring and smiling, Riversong mewed in agreement. "It's so nice being able to talk to you like this, without worrying about prey and fighting and all of that stuff. Maybe one day in the future we'll look back and realize how meaningful or meaningless this all was."

She let out a purr and nodded. ''All of the clans are to worried bout their own, which is understandable.'' she continued, glancing at the ground before back at them. ''I just hope that they soon come back to terms that they are stronger together than apart.. and I hope that it doesn't take too much blood spilled for that to be realized..'' she muttered solemnly, her ears layed back. ''I trust in our leader though at the end of the day, I trust that they have their clan in mind when making these decisions, its all a race for a safer home, a thriving home, from everyone. Maybe if this forest was bigger it would be a different story''

Riversong mewed in agreement. They knew that they would follow Bumblestar to the ends of the earth, but still wasn't sure about the leader's choice with violence. "Fighting for survival is what sets us apart from kittypets, after all," they reasoned. "But still... wouldn't it be great if all the Clans could live in peace? If no queen had to fear that their kit's first sight would be a bloodshed? Only a foolish cat would say that war brings new hope." All that war brought for any cat was tragedy.

(Riversong doesn't realize they're saying the italicized part aloud, but Drizzleheart can hear it)

Well... He wasn't certain what he had expected, but an explosion of brown fur and snow had surprisingly not been it. It seemed that by some miracle of nature, despite the young apprentice being in the line of fire, he incurred none of the snow's wrath... although it would be a lie to state that the snow clumps didn't come awfully close to burying him once more. Perhaps he was simply so cold at this point that the snow seemed to accept him as part of it, and therefore found no need to harm him further. This of course did not help him in the slightest, as he could feel his poor toes frozen even as The Boulder giggled with glee. Normally such displays of giddiness earned deadpanned stares from him, but he could understand this bout of joy for once. He'd be pretty thrilled himself if he was no longer buried under the hellish, frozen stuff as well.

At the question, Fudge found himself tilting his head in thought. One one paw, he almost did want to continue bringing about his wrath to the cads that had dared wound him with their frozen weapons. But on another paw he was already cold and done with this. Plus... food sounded delicious. And warm. And spending time with The Boulder was always nice, making the decision easy as far as he was concerned. Raising himself lightly on both hind paws, he tapped his belly with one forepaw while pointing at his open mouth with another. A motion he made only one before settling down again, his emotionless stare never changing in his reply.

"Agreeable," he stated, blinking as he finally allowed himself to lick his whiskers in anticipation of the meal ahead.
