Swiftwind pursued Barktooth as he backed away. Her fur was bristling and she was ready to pounce on him again. She readied to continue the fight, but stopped a moment short when she realized what was unfolding in front of her. "No.. Zerosight!" She howled. The young warrior looked wildly around her and finally noticed the chaos happening all over the clearing. None of this was right. The clearing was covered in bodies of her clanmates. They may have been on the opposing side but she still grew up with all of these cats and they were a part of Thunderclan.

She hesitated, staring at Barktooth and unsure of what to do. Could the medicine cat save him? Did he even want to be saved? "This is your fault!" she snarled in frustration. She slid her claws in and out, conflicted over how to proceed. Where was Starclan's guidance when she really needed it?

Barktooth collapsed, coughing furiously. He stuck his muzzle on the ground. He felt weak like a kit, the pain of his wounds overwhelming him greatly. "Please, don't..." He said, trying to keep the other from attacking him. He knew he was dying either way but he couldn't take anymore pain.

Amberwish quickly made her way to camp when she heard the yowls off battle coming from the clearing, the dark ginger molly was panting by the time she squeezed through the gorse tunnel. The molly's amber eyes widened as she saw the horde of battling cats, the maine coon gazed across the clearing, she unseathed her claws and flicked her ear as she heard who was fighting who, and for what cause.
Amberwish lashed her tail and curled her lip and crouched "Why would a warrior ever give up on starclan?" she questioned as she made her way to the battling mass of cats, her chin held high' I will never give up on you, please, guide my paws in the right direction,please, let me live through this battle so I can pass on the tails to the kits and apprentices as I'm an elder.' she prayed before she flung herself in the eye of the storm, her amber eyes flashed with menace "I fight for Starclan!" she howled and clawed at the warriors who began to attack the molly.

Sandpaw, spotting a hostile cat, walked up to her, creating a weird squeaky noise that seemed to be meant to be a growl. The deaf apprentice flattened her ears.

Swiftwind sat next to the dying Barktooth, she pulled her gaze away from him. She didn't want to remember the blood oozing from his wounds and how his blood stained the soil. Her throat felt dry, but she forced herself to speak, "You fought like a warrior."

The shecat looked around the clearing, hoping to see Rivermist somewhere nearby. She hoped to see Rivermist soon, before her mentor passed on.

Ashstar's eyes widened when violence burst into the camp, having seen war before but not so unexpectedly. He thought of when Eternalstar took over ThunderClan, though he had only been just born and could not recall the event himself, he'd been told plenty a tale of it. The grey tom was malnourished, his weakened form a husk of his old self having endured through the Evil Era under Ratnight's rule. The former leader, forced into service of the one who had defeated him, rose his head up to see Grousestar and SkyClan burst into the camp and begin to fight. He had almost felt defeated, nearly at the end, uncertain if he could go on any further. Any plans he had made to free his clan had been foiled, his supporters punished, and now freedom was at last at hand. With a surge of strength he had not felt in moons, Ashstar rose. "StarClan's true followers," he called with the authority of a leader, "free yourselves!" With that, the scarred tom rushed forward, hoping to help free his clan.
