Seriously, where did Buckstar get such an arrogant deputy? She was rather rude, impolite, and jumped to conclusions way too fast. Twilightstar wasn't really looking for an apology from her. The I-can-do-whatever-I-want-and-don't-care-about-the-conquences vibe she had reminded the Windclanner of Icestar. That was probably not good at all for ThunderClan. Twilightstar sighed and rolled her eyes, Chickenbee's apology was less grating on Twilightstar's nerves.
The WindClan leader turned her attention to Lionstar as he started a meeting, she did try to pay attention respectfully, but she couldn't help but wonder where ShadowClan was and what were they up too? Icestar and her clan hadn't appeared that beaten up to the point they had to avoid going to the gathering. She didn't think such a prideful cat would lose face like this. The spacy lilac swerved her head in Lionstar's direction when he directly spoke to her. She blinked her eyes, a little confused, but nodded her head in wordless confirmation since Buckstar started speaking right after. If whatever he wanted to talk about involved his bromance with Snippy, she walking away!
Anyway, even though ThunderClan seemed to be doing much better with Buckstar, Twilightstar couldn't help but wonder where the former Thunderclan leader had gone and how they kept gaining a rank only to lose one the next meeting. Since it seemed to be a bit of a cycle for them, Twilightstar was hoping the gliding cat was next to go.
"It's the same old same old in WindClan." Twilightstar began as soon as Buckstar stepped back. "We're doing pretty well. We had some fun with ShadowClan, chased them out of their territory, occupied it for a little bit, and then gave it back, and thank RiverClan for the medical support." She shrugged her shoulders, bored with the topic since it was so last moon.
"In other news more apprentices, Hazelpaw, Specklepaw, Nightpaw, Sheeppaw, and Russetpaw are now out of the nursery."
"Nightleaf has gifted WindClan with Sootkit and Flipkit. Featherwhisker also had a litter, Lavanderkit, and Deadkit, her third kit, Primrosekit was taken in by StarClan." The leader paused for a moment of silence and then went on.
"Due to their bravery and valor in battle, WindClan welcomed several new warriors into the clan. Puddlesplash, Yewbark, Honeysage, Eldersky, Shockholly, Peonyspirit, and Snailspark." She was prouder of a select few, some had a harder time becoming a warrior over others.
Okay, so she hasn't killed anyone... in her clan in the last moon. Nor has she exiled anyone, she felt like she as overdue on both.
"That's all for WindClan." She finished, wrapping up the Gathering. Since she was the last cat, Twilightstar was inclined to call the Gathering to an end, but then remembered Echowind and that Lionstar wanted to chat with her before they left.
"Echowind, you can open your mouth to apologize." Twilightstar ordered, having not heard a word out of her. It took her a second to recall that Coyotesnarl ordered her to shut her trap. Twilightstar outranked him so her orders won. The lilac leader turned and looked at her deputy, twitching her ear to catch his attention. If she was staying behind to talk to Lionstar, Snippy could take the clan home.

Dimtail watched as his leader gave their announcements. He could see what she was confused about. Icestar was a proud cat. She would show up for a gathering whether any other cats of her clan were alive or not! And there were plenty of Shadowclanners. So why hadn't they come? Dimtail looked from Coyotesnarl to Twilightstar, waiting to see if the gathering was over. It seemed to be so.

She was so excited! Her first gathering was coming to an end! So cool... She looked around at all of the cats, not noticing that one clan was missing. She was just so happy to have been an apprentice for this!

Nightleaf had managed to escape without her kits, and she had walked to Seastones. She had come just on time to hear Twilightstar announce the birth of her kits. She felt so... Proud. Of herself, of her kits, of her Clan, of her mate.

Echowind let out a small hiss at her leader. She wasn't dumb. She knew she could talk. Turning to Chicorybee and then to Glididng feather, she murmered, "Sorry," but it was clear she didn't mean it.

She didn’t want her to feel anxious or nervous so she tried to make this as normal as possible.

Singepaw scooted closer to her mentor as all the leaders took their turns speaking. "N-nervous. T-too many cats-s..." She had no idea if Dustsong heard what she said, after all, she could hardly hear herself over all the chitter chatter. "H-how much... l-longer until we go h-home?"
