Luz couldn't help but snort at the 'Tower of Weirdos' part. She nodded slowly when Lily finished. "Well, you're safe here." She said, putting her hand over Lily's.

(Lily actually misunderstood part of her own past. Look at her bio and look for her parents and their status)
Lily cried softly in her hands when she felt Luz put her hand on hers. Lily lifted her head, looking at Luz. "Am I truly safe here? That thing..." Lily shoved that back and looked at Luz once again. "So, um... About that project..."
