Crimson droplets trailed a torturous path down Shadefrost's flank and chest, each one a reminder of the searing pain that consumed his body. His injured shoulder throbbed in rhythmic agony, pulsating like a relentless drumbeat. With narrowed Sapphire blue eyes, he fixed his gaze upon Mousepaw, capturing the young apprentice's muttering within his ears, which twitched with a blend of annoyance and frustration. The disdain emanating from the apprentice had always been present, stemming from their very first encounter, but now it seemed to have reached new heights. A surge of discomfort coursed through Shadefrost, a twinge of guilt that penetrated deep within his core. He questioned his own dismissive nature, wondering if he had been too quick to disregard the apprentice's emotions. If only he had taken the time to understand Mousepaw before the battle, perhaps the hostility wouldn't have taken such a fierce hold. Yet, self-reflection had to be set aside for now. In the midst of the chaos, the leader's commanding yowl pierced the air, beckoning for a retreat. Confusion wrapped around Shadefrost, his gaze shifting towards the injured molly, whose bloodied form sent shock throughout his being. Concern welled up within him, overpowering the tension that had simmered between him and Mousepaw. The decision to withdraw was unexpected, but the sight of the wounded Dawnstar spoke volumes. Knowing that the battle was far from won, Shadefrost reluctantly accepted the wisdom behind the leader's call. Though each step he took sent fresh jolts of pain through his body, he limped forward, joining Mousepaw and the others.
(@Alchemist Kitsune Okay the Maplepaw thing was totally my fault. Didn’t realize I was typing that. Sorry.)

"Go back to your mom, rat!" He spat back as Dawnstar gave the order to retreat, and Thunderclan could finally take a breath of relief. He cheered with his clanmates, yowling at the fleeing Shadowclanners with triumph in his voice. "You will never have Sunkissed Creek!"
But truth told, he was feeling a failure inside. His blows hadn't hit one single time, and all he was able to do was resist the enemy's attacks. Good thing Flameheart didn't see me. I was... pathetic. He lowered his gaze as the last of Shadowclan disappeared into the forest, lost in his thoughts.
A low growl was heard nearby, as Yin walked out of some trees. "What's all this about..?" He spat, his eyes filled with hatred and fury. These clans sickened him, but he knew he had to join one in honor of his fallen sister.
Yin and Yang are siblings. Yang is Yin's younger sister, but she died of starvation, so Yin has vowed to join a clan in her honor.

Wildtwist had just been on a stroll when a familiar scent flooded his nose. He crept up and saw the kittypets he had seen at the battle. A low growl filled his throat. "Kittypet!" he hissed, leaping out of the bushes. "You are trespassing, Again. You need to leave, ThunderClan doesn't allow trespassers on our land," He hissed. He slid out his claws, prepared to fight the kittypet.

• Springpaw •
long-furred, oriental-shaped, gray-and-orange calico molly with blue eyes; torn right ear
_________________________________________________
Springpaw could’ve swore that she felt the muscles in her throat tighten as her ears took in the amount of doubt and hesitance that rose in Drizzlecloud’s tone. She hoped that Gentledoe was okay, but she wasn’t fully certain of it. From the scarring behind the bandages on Gentledoe’s face… it was deemed to be positive that the molly wasn’t going to be alright. Not physically, nor mentally. Great StarClan this was a mess. It was a battle that could’ve been prevented if Dawnstar didn’t come along to try to take over ThunderClan territory. All it did was cause a massive strain to her own clan. A strain that could only be fixed as time passed by, and hopefully not worsened by any more unnecessary bloodshed or violence. A stifled breath escaped the calico’s maw, eyes shifting back up towards Drizzlecloud as her ears listened to her next set of words.
They were going to have to require more poultice to Gentledoe’s wounds and change out the cobwebs. Springpaw felt a little burst of relief rush through her veins when Drizzlecloud seemed to take up her offer of using moss to clean out any infection or debris on wounds. As, since it could be used to soak up blood from leaking wounds, they could use it to hopefully help with some other patients who were in a dire need for clinical attention. Another heavy tug was felt within the apprentice’s chest, her eyes drifting away from Drizzlecloud’s. Was Drizzlecloud… okay after the whole ordeal? Springpaw wanted to ask, she wanted to speak, but the words were stuck so pitifully in her throat that she couldn’t fully comprehend them outwards. She could clearly see that Drizzlecloud was suffering. That she couldn’t fully grasp the traumatic experience of helping out a clinical patient at paw. Springpaw wanted to help, to express some words to the older molly… but she couldn’t. She would only just make the matters worsen if she tried.
As the heavy, dreadful cloud of silence drew among the two, Springpaw couldn’t help but glance her eyes downwards towards the red stains on her usually white paws, her stomach lurching from the horrid sight itself. This… was something that she was going to have to get used to, wasn’t it? The feeling of having a cat’s blood slowly smearing into her fur while she worked on them? The way the crimson liquid stuck onto her paws made Springpaw feel heavily sick to her stomach, her muscles still and tight as her paws shook in place. She didn’t like the feeling of having someone’s blood stuck to her own paws, it only made her feel sicker than she wanted to be. She was going to clean them off as soon as they got back to camp, and hopefully get the feeling of Gentledoe’s blood off of her afterwards. She already felt enough shame as it was witnessing her missing an eye, she didn’t want to risk anything else happening to her while she healed.
Her thoughts on the matter were quickly subsided as Drizzlecloud’s voice broke through the tense silence, oriental-shaped ears angling themselves in Drizzlecloud’s direction as the calico silently listened to her speak. She… was proud of her? A ripple of both shock and surprise rippled through the calico, fluttering her eyes shut as the tip of her tail twitched daintily. Drizzlecloud was proud of her. She thanked her for helping her even if she was scared out of her mind. A slow, shaky smile drew across her maw, oceanic hues locking with Drizzlecloud’s jade-green. “I… T-thank you, Drizzlecloud,” she stammered, trying to catch the voice in her throat, “I’ll try my hardest to not be so frightened next time… I’ll get used to doing this eventually.”
Stars, the word eventually felt so wrongly to slip out, but it was what Springpaw could merely muster. Her throat muscles felt so tight at the moment that she almost felt like she was going to pass out due to the lack of airflow. Her breathing remained shallow and her chest remained tight. She distracted herself against the uncomfortable tight feeling as her ears listened to Drizzlecloud telling Sparrowpelt to carry Gentledoe back to camp, her eyes dreadfully watching as the tom agreed and swiftly carrying the warrior like it wasn’t much of an issue. It didn’t feel right watching as the warrior carried the newly scarred molly back to camp. It just felt severely wrong and uncomfortable in many ways, but she knew it was necessary. Her blue eyes then turned over towards the familiar pelt of Bumblestar, the apprentice forcefully swallowing back a nervous lump as her eyes stared at the red crimson staining her pelt. She was bound to be used to this by now, but it wasn’t easy. This being her first battle wasn’t simple to take in either. Great StarClan she just wanted to go back to camp.
As much as the medicine cat apprentice wanted to respond to the leader’s offer, she held herself back. Yes, it was guilty of her to hold back her own set of words to respond to the leader, but it was best if her mentor did it. She was the clan’s main medicine cat, after all. She should be doing the talking, not her. But that didn’t mean that she wouldn’t nod to the leader in thanks. She knew that Bumblestar was merely offering herself to help the two new medics, after all.

Her paw slipped around his, and he fell. Skidding to a stop, she made to jump onto his exposed belly only to find that he had stood up once again and she tumbled to the side. The rage that seemed to be seeping from his body meant nothing to her. There was no one in ShadowClan worth avenging, they were all murderers and torturers and a cult following a leader due to fear instead of loyalty. Not that ThunderClan was very different anymore. Fear seemed to be a stronger motivator than loyalty ever had been.
They stood there for a moment, green eyes glaring at blue. A reflection of hatred. She recognized this cat, barely, but something about the black tabby sparked her memory. Things she wanted to forget, memories she had erased, this cat barely a few feet away. He had fought Thrushstar, hadn't he? Fought Thrushstar as she went up against Thornclaw and Shadowfur. Thornclaw, a fool, and Shadowfur, a murderer. Neither of them deserved to walk out of that battle, and only one of them had, so she supposed they had paid their dues. But this one had left, and it seemed as if this one remembered her as well.
Why did he act like he cared? Thornclaw didn't deserve pity. And if Darkfall was going to have his revenge, she'd have heard. Revenge for what they'd done to Pebblepaw, made her sister terrified of leaving camp, made her blame herself for the deaths of clanmates, the way that ShadowClan punished those who crossed their borders by leaving a mark of death, but then proceeded to do the same themself. A clan of hypocrites. Everyone knew it. Why did they care so much about borders. A six moon old wasn't good to kill a warrior. A six moon old should've been escorted back to the border and instead they'd starter a war.
This wasn't separate, rather nothing but a second part of what had happened four moons ago. A continuation to make them pay for the five clanmates who hadn't came home. "Yeah." Her eyes didn't move from his face, watching as he seethed, watching as spite flew from his lips. Disappoint? She'd try her best. Her attacks came from fury and surprise, and she only had one of those at the moment. Defense was what was forced upon her instead.
She ducked, preparing to try for the same technique as before, only to have a paw slam down on her shoulder, cutting through fur and skin. She hissed as she drew back, blinking back the pain before leaping again, jumping towards his head, claws outstretched. Should she miss, she'd roll on the ground. It'd hurt her shoulder but she didn't like the directions they were facing.
"Look, I'm not here to fight. I only came to question what was going on." Yin sounded rougher than before, and his eyes were a bit duller than before and quite sullen, too. "And before you ask where my sister went, she's dead. She died of starvation because of you 'clan cats' shunning us."
He growled at the kittypet. Wildtwist didn't flinch at the mention of the Cat's sister's death. Of course Kittypets couldn't survive without twolegs. "I don't care. You are Tresspassing. I am giving you until the count of three to scramble back to your twoleg." The ThunderClan warrior didn't give a damn about some kittypet death. And he certainly wasn't going to let this kittypet trespass.

"That's the problem; my owner is a neglectful and abusive meanie. I can't go back to him on fear of death by his hands." Yin looked slightly terrified when Wildtwist mentioned the Twoleg who had been neglecting and abusing him.
Oh, so now the kittypet was trying to distract them by talking. They wern't going to fall for that. "Did I ask?" they growled to the kittypet. They stalked closer, and raised their hackles. "Two. If you don't leave, I will attack you," he growled.

Yin had started to back away now. "P-Please, don't hurt me!" He pleaded for mercy. It wasn't worth it. Then the realization set in of how terrified Yin was.
