high expectations were an understatement, and duskblossom wasn't sure she could meet them, but at least she was here and actually going to do her job as a mentor - that was more than she seemed to be able to say for honeysnake, so at least she couldn't disappoint stempaw that way. "yeah yeah, whateverrrr, i'll do some of that. you better put all that information to good use, whenever i get it, or else i'll be kinda disappointed in you. and disappointment is kinda good but also kinda bad because it leads to stress and stress leads to distraction and that means you can't work well, which makes you want to work well so you try to work well! like i said earlier!" duskblossom replied, backing away a few pawsteps slowly. "so, uh, i'll be seeing you soon. i have some uh, stuff to get to." in reality, she was just trying to make her getaway before this little apprentice dropped any more heavy responsibilities on her.

Nightsun padded into the Nursery and looked around for Crowskip. He had been meaning to stop by and see the new kits. @Rainquail

Crowskip brightened as her brother entered the nursery. "Hey! I was worried I'd have to send someone to hunt you down- come look at your nieces and nephew."
She unfurls just enough to show him the kits. "One of them even looks like me!" She quietly squeaked in excitement and booped Vulturekit, who sneezed himself awake and turned a bit. He was almost a spitting image of his aunt. He stared at Nightsun, a bit shy and backed closer to Crowskip.
