SNOWKIT
fluffy white she-cat with brown and black patches and icy blue eyes. she/her
Hearing the gruff sound of a call, Snowkit looked up from where she had been dozing in the nursery. Wahh, she wanted to do special tasks!! She stood up with a long stretch, then made her way out into the clearing. Icy blue eyes settled on a big fluffy tom sitting in front of the entrance. They widened, a squeak falling from her lips. Woah, this big cat was scary!! Snowkit sat down (pointedly as far away as she could) and waited- silently hoping her sisters would join her.
FERRETSNAP
fluffy brown and white tom with amber eyes. he/him
Ferretsnap shouldered his way out of the warrior's den, looking over the camp briefly before turning and making his way toward the nursery. He had been brewing an idea for quite a while now to prepare the kits of RiverClan for becoming apprentices- and what better way than to practice patrols? Getting them started on learning what patrols were would lead to apprentices that didn't just sit around and do nothing... like many of his Clanmates. Clearing his throat, Ferretsnap stopped just outside of the nursery and sat down.
"All kits who would like to do special tasks for the Clan, come out here," he said, raising his voice for all of the kits to hear. He hoped this would give them a fun activity to complete, especially as they were confined to camp until they were made apprentices.
As he waited, the tom's head spun around to look for the telltale orange pelt of a certain deputy. "Gingerfrost, I would appreciate if you helped as well," Ferretsnap called out. Though his words gave an option for Gingerfrost to decline, his tone held a silent 'I will chew you out if you don't help'.

[ How will this work? ]
[ Kits will be assigned into 'patrols' to do tasks around camp, such as cleaning nests in dens. These 'patrols' will go just like normal ones- you get a specific amount of time to finish and report them to Ferretsnap or Gingerfrost- only without the punishments. In order for the posts to count, each kit must make at least two posts before they are counted as participating in the 'patrol'. I would prefer that only kits at least two moons and older take part in this.
These 'patrols' will also count towards the Kit Curriculum requirements! ]

The kit slowly awokened herself, shaking her fur gently, before padding over. "yes, fewwetsnap?" she spoke gently, smiling up at the older cat.
Firekit's tail twitched in interest as she padded towards Ferretsnap's call. "Hey, whaddya mean patrols? Do us babies gotta work now too?!" Maybe if all the cats in Riverclan were lazy, like she heard everyone shouting about at the last meeting, then that meant she had to start picking up the slack. The idea of having something to do other than lie there and wonder where her mommy had gone was enticing, but what if they had to do this forever? Forever was a long time, about how long Goldkit was gonna be in Starclan.
[ @lio and open to any kits pls she needs friends ]
Springkit heard the call and came hobbling over in a moments notice, no hesitation about approaching someone she doesn't know. All she knew was that it had to do with kits and it had her attention right away, if it was fun and something she can do she was going to do it. "Can I join in!?" she yelled not bothered to control the volume of her voice, after all she was excited. Ears perked when she heard another kit speak up, oh yeah that meeting with all that screaming. "We can make it a game? It'll be fun for just us, no screaming fights like the big adults did!" she was sure that no one would cause any trouble. If they did she'd try to stop them, thought it might not prove to work since she wasn't big like the other kits.
A nap. That's all Raccoonpelt wanted was to little nap. Though someone may have had other plans.
Bright yellow eyes opened up before the raccoon-like tom slowly opened his eyes. Raccoonpelt lifted his head as he stretched his forepaws out before lifting his striped
tail to reveal his kits, all sleeping peacefully. Martenkit, Troutkit, Flintkit and.. wait. Where was Minkkit? Raccoonpelts eyes widened as he looked around the nest and made sure to count multiple times. There were only three kits in the nest with him. Raccoonpelt looked around the nursery hoping to see his smallest daughter. No luck.
Raccoonpelt carefully got up as to not wake the others as he went to look around the nursery again. Maybe he just missed her? Right? Raccoonpelt let out soft calls of her name. Again the raccoon-like Tim didn't have luck. Raccoonpelt then turned his head to the entrance of the nursery.
No..
For a kit that small there was no way she would be able to- Raccoonpelt didn't let himself finish that thought as he raced over to the entrance. Raccoonpelt stood there was he squinted looking for the small kit within the clan of fish cats. After a few moments Raccoonpelt spotted the familer silvery fur of his daughter.
Raccoonpelt quickly made his way to her, not exactly watching out for anyone in the way, he just wanted to get to his kit. Once Raccoonpelt got to her, he laid down next to her wrapping his black and white tail around Minkkit before licking her head.
"And how did you get out this far, Love?"
Raccoonpelt asked not expecting an answer.

Minkkit was happily floundering around, making a snow-angel on the ground with her front and back limbs as a warm presence descended beside her. Silver-blue hues drifted upward, and Minkkit beamed happily at her mama. "Mrrow." She meowed conversationally after Raccoonpelt's words, whatever they meant.
Bright, expressive hues drifted in a different direction as some big brown cat began yowling .. and of course Minkkit had to begin wriggling in that direction, leaving the comfort of her mother's tail as she squirmed her way over to the gathering kits, yammering nonsense happily. "Meeoowwwww!"
Sunsetkit was excited to do whatever this special task "i wanna join!" They said, making their was to the rest of the kits. hopefully it's fun!, they thought with a smile of their face
