Lichenpaw frowned as he saw Webstar approach the Hightree, Webstar was no longer Skyclan’s leader, he had given that up the second he left, so what right did he think he had calling a meeting? As Webstar- Webstripe spoke about how he was ‘resigning’ even though he had been demoted, Lichenpaw got a bad feeling, which took an even worse turn as he claimed that Morningflame was now Skyclans leader. He sighed, another argument was coming.. wasn’t it? Skytail was the first to yell out, and he knew that her statement about voting was what the entire clan felt. It was only fair for the clan to choose their leader seeing as they had been so long without a decent one. He watched as Morningflame shrunk away slightly at Skytail’s remark, she’s still the same as when she was deputy. he concluded swiftly. Morningflame had been deputy during the time that Smokesky was leader, and she wasn’t a very good one, she had tried to send out patrols and even herb patrols (which was lichens job at the time) and she had always shrunk away from disagreements in the clan, sure she had tried her best but she wasn’t fit to lead, and that was that. Fear pulled at him as he spoke up, by stars did he hate public speaking, especially about ranks.. “I-I also agree with Skytail, alike last time we were without a leader we should take it to a vote, however, I will not accept Morningflame as the leader of Skyclan unless she wins the votes.” his tone was shaky at first but then settled out towards the end in a harsher statement. ”She had her chance to prove herself when she was Smokesky’s deputy, and yet she failed to do her duties before abandoning the clan when an argument broke out.” he indicated with his tail to Morningflame “She is even terrified of the smallest allegations.” he took a deep breath, he hated this, he hated every second of it, he hated feeling like he was being forced to say these things, but it was the truth.

His paws were shaky and he felt a little light headed but he continued, ”further more I am currently not the Skyclan medicine cat, unless the clan votes for me to become so.” he turned his head slightly to talk directly to Webstar, “Smokesky was given his lives by Starclan before he had then striped away by a pack of dogs, which means that Starclan no longer saw you as Skyclan’s leader, I’m guessing that means you wouldn’t be able to appoint a deputy, let alone a leader.” his tone was wavering although his words were skillfulky thought out, he sounded scared but sure of himself.

*Morningflame finally fled at that, running into the territory and collapsing behind some bushes, crying her eyes out*

(Morningflame did not self-exile herself. She is still in SkyClan, juts needing time by herself to gain control over herself)

Morningflame will be part of the options. We shall cast stones. We have many behind the high tree. Any other cat who wishes to be leader may present themselves. They will not vote. The contestent with the most votes will be skyclan's new leader, and will recive their nine lives. You may ONLY vote for cats who have put themselves forward." He concluded, sitting hos rump on the tree. "Now, all warriors who wish to be leader, come forth."
