"Hello, Cloudspots!" Sootfur greeted his friend with a cheerful tone, pleased that they had be assigned to the same patrol. They would go across the territory together once again, but this time as two equal warriors! The gray tabby thought that his friend seemed to have something invisible heaving on his shoulders, but maybe it was just an impression like many others.

"I'm so glad we're going out together! And I've never met Cardinalpaw." How many moons was he? Had he joined other border patrols? Would Sootfur had the chance to give a younger cat some suggestions? But Cloudspots is way more experienced than me, so that role should be his.
"Oh, I'm looking forward to see what's happening on Riverclan border, too." His tail flicked back and forth in impatience, but he sat down and still lay his gaze across the camp to wait for Cardinalpaw's appearance.

Flameheart, with Galekit's scruff in her jaws, padded into the nursery and stopped in front of Rainfall. With a sigh, the young warrior carefully placed the crying kit at Rainfall's paws and sat down to groom herself and look more presentable to the queen. After a few swipes with her tongue and some fur had once again been flattened, the orange and white classic tabby Maine Coon relaxed her shoulders and began the explanation.

"Galekit got into the apprentice's den and somehow got into an insult war with Blazingpaw. Blazingpaw, being his... rude and dramatic self... was not remorseful or responsible and ended up causing Galekit to cry. I handled the situation but just thought I'd bring your son back," she let out another sigh, this one shorter than the last. I need to sleep. It feels like I just got back from my silent vigil...

Lotuskit bounds up to Flameheart, "Since you're a warrior now does that mean I'm an apprentice? Like your apprentice?" Lotuskit gives her a hopeful grin.

"Okay!" Burningpaw padded over to the exit, then remembered, "If we are going out of camp, we need a warrior." The apprentice looked around for Butterflyblaze, hoping he might acompany them.

The fluffy tom shuffled in embarrassment, but Sparrowflight was right. He took a moment to breath and calm down. He had been selfish, leaving without telling anyone to go find the mother who had left him seasons ago. He just became a warrior and immediately he left to go find someone he should’ve moved on from.

He sighed. “Of course, Sparrowstar. What I did was childish, I shouldn’t of left the clan. I’ll make it up to you, and the clan.” He gasped a couple times, swallowing the lump in this throat. “I understand my mother’s loyalties now. I thank you.” He sat straight up, waiting for Sparrowstar’s reply.

He was tired, he just wanted to curl up in his den.

Burningpaw was likeable. No, not likeable. Loveable. Maybe? Yeah. No! Yes? Redpaw barely knew her. But he could.... Yeah.

The deputy hummed to himself before calling out, "Mallowheart, you'll be leading the patrol, Shallowshiver and Sharppaw will be replaced by Thrushfur and Coldpaw. Remember that you're going to the Thunderglade." That should be everything... To be sure, the tom scanned over the patrol groups before nodding to himself.

"Alright, let's head out." Copperfire meowed to Blackfir and Newtlight. Patrols seemed to go smoothly when he was on them, so he was feeling quite confident in what the results would be.

I know I've done this before... but this kit would have kinda, sorta, wasted their life with twolegs, all alone, with no family or friends, can I PLEASE adopt this little she-kit?" Streamtail gives Sparrowstar a pleading look, "The twoleg nest was nearby and I kinda stumbled upon this little kit, I know I may be carrying kits too but I can't help but go get some peace and quiet. Plus I have milk now so I can feed her! Also I'm sorry I went up to the twoleg nest and I'll never do it again, I just heard this little kit playing alone and thought she was trapped or something." Streamtail regains her posture a little before sitting down and whispering to Teddie, "Like it here?"
